Recent infrastructure close enough to the nature park. A charming welcome as is very common in Sri Lanka. The room is impeccable. The bathroom is comfortable. We enjoyed the buffet with a variety of prices for the drinks quite right. It's good to find a nice nice swimming pool, you can have lunch near the pool: card service. The wi-fi is powerful at the reception and the pool alone has no wi-fi in the rooms... Going to the restaurant you can see little cs is very cute! Be careful to close your windows the monkeys come into the rooms and steal business. Good hotel mango

Great for Sri Lanka

Room are spacious and views are very nice. Priyal and the staff are very nice and always nice and polite. A very chill place. If you need any services ( motorbike, surf lessons, yoga lessons..) they will provide it for you. A really pleasant stay. Will come back again.

Great stay

We booked and paid through hotels.com 3 nights. Our tuktuk driver didn't find the place first because turned out the name and owner had changed. Place is now called Surf n Yoga. 

With the new owner prices was way above than what we paid through hotels.com. We had a room with fan and in my opinion paid too much since the room wasn't nice at all. All the pictures I had seen of this place didn't match my expectations. 

This place no longer exists

We were looking for medium budget accommodation and recommended this place when called the nearby hotel d'ici esprit. We turned up and were shown two rooms - one with fan for 4000 rupees including breakfast and one with air con for 4500. We took the air con room. It was large, clean and with kettle. Bathroom clean with hot water and lovely balcony with monkeys hanging from trees outside. An unexpected gem. When we had breakfast, I told the manager I unfortunately didn't like watermelon, asking if he had any other fruit he immediately got on his scooter and went out to buy me a huge bunch of bananas! When he basked us where we are from, the retired owner (age 77) told us a beautiful story about his determination to get to London in the 1970's, showing his bravery. 
Lovely place - also only 5-10 minutes to beaches (ones on left of mirissa main beach are quieter and pretty) 
Recommend you stay here! 


Excellent comfort, good customer service and lovely grounds 

This is the place you should stay when you are going on a vacation in Mirissa area, the staff were so welcoming and food was amazing. we got our room in upstairs and view from there was spectacular... when it comes to bedrooms they had a nice Srilankan  classical concept going on with handmade window curtains made from natural leaves,comfortable beds and a balcony which opens to a million dollar view.the price was affordable and I'll be going back there for my next vacation.

Great place

The place is great. The garden is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and very clean.  Close to the beach also and the owners and manager were very friendly who made our stay memorable as they went out of their way to help us. Food was also great. Totally recommend this place. Thank all at Ulgedara Villa!

Best place in Mirrissa!

This is a very good getaway place. Very close to the beach, and whale watching area.
It is surrounded my a lot of greenery. Excellent food. Very friendly staff. This is a very safe place for a family with kids.
And the rooms are very comfortable. I would not stay at any other place if I went to mirissa.

Very nice place to spend your leisure time

The hotel is very close to the sea (by road and other guesthouses) and is very close to the sea (by road and other guesthouses) - 2 minutes by foot. But to the beach of Myrissa you have to walk 10 minutes or drive on a 2-minute walk. It is not very convenient to go - there is no sidewalk. But this applies to almost all the villas and guesthouses - the road there is one. We lived there for seven days. Our room was on the 2nd floor, with 2 beds - wide for 2 places and very narrow to the taste.

The room is very nice and very large with a terrace, the warm welcome of the inhabitants. The manager was kind enough to show me all the trees and to taste the fruits, the garden is really nice. Only a little bemool, a little bit a short walk from the beach of Mirissa, is not in the center and the road is dangerous at night to go home.

It's a great time!

It's one of the best options in Mrissa, and there's good air conditioning, and there's been a periodic power outage, but it's a problem for the whole city, and the breakfast is good, but it's pretty uniform, and the staff is kind, so you don't have to be embarrassed to go to them, and they've taken you to the airport for a reasonable price.
