We come here every couple of years and it just gets better and better each each time. Personalised attention to every task is too great for this wonderful family run business! 
Laying under the coconut trees watching the turtles pop up their heads is amazing February March without fail turtles laying eggs right next door - truly special

There’s a reason why we keep coming back

Really great. Staff is extremely helpful and nice. 
The place is quite old, needs a little renovation. 
The room we got didnt have any water pressure in the shower, but we got a room on the other side of the road. This was nice and a good service.

It was the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka, we could actually choose between a lot of nice things!
Be aware that they use extreme amounts of sugar in the food, i got a smoothie bowl and a avocado toast with a lot of sugar. Dont forget to mention if you dont want that!

The private beach Is very small and there is only a few beds which people but their towels on in the morning. 
But if you are okay with laying on a towel in the sand, it is okay.



Very nice!

We had the best time staying at the Beach Inns- the owners Indika and Fiona are very friendly and welcoming, the staff are very attentive and will do anything for you-  you fell like you are the only people staying there due go their personal touch on everything. Great place to stay with Children (we have a 7 and 3 year old) everything is so easy. This place felt like home- can't wait to return next year. 

Home away from Home 

We have fallen in love with this gorgeous place! We are a family with 5 year old twins and usually stay in Bentota area when in Sri Lanka; however we decided to come down to the south and chose this beautiful spot because it had that intimate guest house feel we were looking for. 
We are a week into a 2 week stay and I cannot recommend it enough! We have a lovely family room, and a special mention must be for the food here! The black pork curry in particular is nothing short of amazing! You can enjoy a drink or food watching the turtles swimming directly in front of you! 

We have been looked after in every way since our arrival with the owners family going above and beyond expectations at every turn. 
This is a family owned & run place so it makes such a difference to the quality of service you get. 
We are already looking at flights to come back and if you are looking for somewhere to stay here in Matara there really is no where else!

First Class

Beach Inns,  has been and is like feeling at home, the entire team is very comfortable and attentive, always willing to help and satisfy the stay, their slogan attests to their attitude, ...all your holidays needs is true. The room is beautiful , the view of the ocean nd the sound of the waves , as well as the hotel facilities, part of it in front of the sea, fantastic views
Indika, is attentive and friendly and makes the hotel pleasant and comfortable for the guests, the food is very good, especially the homemade ice cream, the restaurant area, Harsha also very attentive and committed to his work makes the stay be very nice

Fantástic and confortable weeks

Very nice hotel with quiet spots. Excellent kitchen and very nice staff! The owners were very friendly and helpful all the times!
Location was perfect for the whole family. Quiet beach with moderate waves, directly on the beach, turtles can be watched while eating outside at the patio European guest mix from France, Germany, UK, Ireland.....
Further restaurants and party spot in the neighborhood - all in walking distance. 
We can highly recommend the hotel and if we visit Sri Lanka again, we will definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel, great staff and excellent kitchen

The best accomodation in the Matara region. Directly at the Ocean with a beautiful view. The restaurant is full of palm trees. All the personnel are superb! They look for all your wishes, there are no impossible questions. 

Our second home

Beach Inns is THE place to stay in and around Matara and our favourite destination in all of Sri Lanka. The hotel comprises beachside rooms in the main hotel and two neighbouring villas each with their own pools - all of which have access to a private beach and restaurant which overlooks the sea. We have stayed in all three properties in which the rooms are sparkling clean and well appointed. The hotel restaurant serves excellent breakfast, lunch, dinner and all day snacks, which is always fresh and made to order. The staff are extremely helpful and will go the extra mile to help organise anything you wish to do during your stay - day trips along the coast, safari and cooking lessons to name just a few!! We also did the morning yoga class on the roof terrace which was the perfect start to the day. We couldn’t recommend Beach Inns enough and are happy to return time and time again!   

Retuned to paradise….again!

I love this place, the staff are very helpful and the food is a very reasonable price. The rooms are right on the beach and there is also a pool on the other side of the Hotel. All in all I really enjoyed my stay here, they offer spa treatments and the owners are super lovely. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are in Matara. The beach is small and private with lots of activities to do around like diving surfing. 10/10 

Awesome experience and lovely owners 

I love this place, I stayed here for 5 nights and the owner and the staff are incredibly helpful and very lovely to chat to. They all have a great sense of humour and alway have a smile on their face. Sala, who served me most of the time is a very nice guy and is always making sure your stay here is comfortable. The funny thing is is that even after I left here, I find myself back here just for the food and because of the staff that make this place. We had a beach side room with a balcony overlooking the beach and the rooms are very tidy. The food is definitely a better price here than else where and you can relax outside on bean bags, and literally walk a few meters onto an amazing white sandy beach for a swim or you can go for a swim in their swimming pool. It got everything you need! Me any my partner Aimee loved this place! A must stay!
