Restful and beautifully restored Colonial Villa with bedrooms off a central courtyard filled with scented frangipani trees.. Wonderfully planted gardens at the rear with a magnificent pool. The garden is full of interest with exotic flowers, chameleons, butterflies, birds and even monkies in the trees at times.
The staff were a delight and most helpful. Prema's breakfasts the best food we had in 4 weeks stay in  Sri Lanka - by far. Kumara always seemed at hand to help when needed. We found the host, Nuwan, most helpful, full of information on what to do and where to go.
We enjoyed everything at Robin Hill.

A perfect oasis.

The most beautifully restored property I have ever stayed in. Huge rooms beautifully furnished, including four poster with mosquito nets. Restored by Nuwan who also runs it, a very attentive host.Fabulous length pool and gardens,and excellent cooking. Also close to magnificent beach. Wish I'd stayed longer - maybe next time?

Authentic restoration of luxury villa

We enjoyed everything about this place: the historic architecture, the food, our room, the pool and the super friendly staff.

It’s located about 20 minutes walk from all the surf places along the beach. Well worth a stay!

A real gem

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Weligama at Robin Hill Suites. Nuwan who own and runs the former colonial governor's residence has done a fabulous job of retaining character while adding mod-cons the 21st century traveller craves. We used it as a base to explore mirissa (whale watching) and the beaches close to Unawatuna. Keep up the good work!

Beautiful villa in calm Weligama

Restored beautifully... This place boasts a central courtyard which serves as the main artery for its many rooms. The outdoor pool is heavenly (they even have a small workout area). The owner, Nuwan is well spoken and is always eager to help with suggestions. No a/c and Wi-Fi is a little patchy but it's perfect for a tranquil getaway! P.s. outdoor showers are excellent and just what you need to cool down in the heat!
