Unsleepable hotel : room is dirt, sheets are for single bed size and are torn, air-conditioning is not working, mosquitoes are plenty (if you want malaria it's the place to go). Cash only even Mastercard sign is displayed. 35usd and we even did not finish night there. Avoid.

The Location Was Ok. The Price Was Reasonable. We Checked In On Feb. 2016 For Two Nights And That Checking In Was Ok As Well. The Surroundings Were Clean & Tidy. Receptionists Were All Friendly And Very Accommodating. The Room That We Stayed In Was # 24 And It Was Not Up To Par. No Proper Area To Hang Clothing. It Had A Stinky Smell The Whole Time. This Room Had In What We Call In Barbados, Johnny Postles, Which Is A Small Insect That Looks Like A Baby Cockroach. Now, A Few Questions, Who Designed The Bathroom And Were They Paid?? This Bathroom Was Horrible, It Didn't Have A Division For The Shower So All The Water That Is Used During Your Shower Goes All Into The Entire Bathroom Floor And The Drain For This Shower Was Uphill As Well So The Water Settled In A Corner Of The Bathroom Floor. We Immediately Informed Reception Who Sent The Housekeeper, If We Can Call Her That, Who Brought A Squeege, Like What Is Used At The Gas Station To Clean Your Windshield, To Pull And Push The Water Towards The Drain, Flintstones Comes To Mind. AC Was Ok. Television Was Outdated. Poor Channels. Breakfast was Of Poor Selection So We Had Breakfast Lunch & Dinner At Brasserie Tibiti Which Was Onto The Same Building As The Elegant Hotel & Casino Which Was excellent. We Received WiFi In The Room. In All, Suriname Is A Lovely Place With Lots & Lots To See But If We Do Go There Again, We Wouldn't Be Staying At Hotel Paradiso.

Not Up To Par

Friendly staff and clean environs. Made my stay in Suriname stress free, we came in late at night and were immediately led to our room. It's location is close enough to the shopping centre, historical sites and the Waterkant. Some friends and I were there for the Carifesta and we all had a great time. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Perfect if you're on a budget

Stayed there a week ago for 2 nights nice large room  with fan was just right for me and travel companion... love the fact its located to shopping in the city. I will definitely stay they again.I cant wait to go back to Suriname  this time I will stay there for a longer period i love the shopping... one observation, Hotel displayed the Master card sign but was not accepting international credit cards..( thats not  good ) most ppl travel using major credit cards which will allow the traveler to not have too much cash in pockets the hotel should improve by accepting the cards

Mastercard sign displayed but hotel did not accept the card instead ask for cash only need to accept major credit cards
