This is the first time I've ever posted a public complaint, but my husband, daughter and I just had the most bizarre experience. After having forwarded a series of feedback about poor cleaning service to the reception staff on multiple occasions during our stay we came to the conclusion that the experience did not match the 21500 SEK we had prepaid for our visit. We asked the receptionist for a fair compensation and agreed on a symbolic sum covering our restaurant bills. What follows is the most bizarre experience where we as guests have been threatened by text messages from the hotel CEO, we have been accused of verbal assault and threatening behavior towards the receptionist on duty at the time of our check-out and have been urged to refund our compensation to avoid being reported to the police (!). One could look at this as an embarrassing farce, yet we are utterly shaken by this unbelievable experience of how Rusthållaregården treats dissatisfied guests.

A hotel that cannot deal with unsatisfied guests - a bizarre experience.

Atmosphere and service excellent. 
Beds much too soft. 
Noisy group in the dining hall spoiled the experience and there was plenty of room to separate the tro kinds of guest (couple and business Group).
The 3 course dinners were not a good experience. Breakfast buffet was good.

Mixed experience

Very cosy hotel and great view. Many nice areas inside to socialize. The food was also nice. Deer for dinner and Wallenbergare for lunch. Not to noisy and soft beds, I slept very well. Good enough breakfast. Good parking spaces around the hotel

Very nice experience

Lovely hotel in a charming little village. The rooms are very nice and most importantly with excellent beds. 
The staff are very friendly, proactive and fore coming.

Charming and personal

We visited Rusthållaregården for one-night stay with dinner booked in the restaurant.
The location is great with a nice view of the ocean from our room. The rooms have good standard and are well kept and clean. Staff in reception is nice and welcoming and breakfast was nice and of good quality. So far so good.
The dinner in the restaurant was a disappointment. We preordered food and we had a set time for our meal, still we needed to wait 50 minutes to get our meal served. That is not acceptable for any restaurant, and absolutely not if you claim to be an award-winning restaurant. (as in the advertisement on Bookings.com). When we tell the staff that we have waited far too long they say that they are sorry and offers us free coffee with the desert. If you really want to make up for a mistake you should give something substantial and not just a cup of coffee, that just makes it worse 
The short summery is that this hotel and restaurant is overpriced and struggles to live up to the promises they make

Not that impressed – overpriced venue and a restaurant that needs to improve

In the heart of Arild you fins this lovley place. We had a room wirh seaview and it was magnificent. If you seek quiet and lovley surrounding, Arild is the place. We had the golf package offer and when we returned in the evening a lovley 3 course dinner was waiting and it was one of the best food I have been eaten in my life. The service of Julia in the restaurant, ( a lady that has worked at Rushållaregården for, I think 40 years) was so warm and passionate that it made the stay. We had breakfast on the roof in the morning and we just enjoyed life and each other. We played at S:t Arild and Mölle Golfcourses and they were really good.

Lovley and calm place!

Fantastic area, lots off things to do like walking, Kullen has a great and varied nature, biking, swimming in the summer. We will for sure come back. The food was great. Only thing I as a Dane found strange in these covid-19 times, was the buffet and that everyone touches the cheese when cutting it.

Very nice stay

For the price i paid, our room was missing basic amenities for example a minibar/fridge, internet not working, iron, slippers, orderly tv. 

Plus the terrible decor that has not been updated since the 1980s was somewhat depressing.

Venture to the spa and one is greeted with the same kind of style and you have to pay for the visit!

However, the restaurant and breakfast was  very good and we enjoyed our meals and sitting on the roof .

Its just a shame that the interiors and rooms did not reflect the great cooking.

My score is a reflection of the price of the rooms for what you get.

A time warp to the 1980s

Very nice hotel with a lovely atmosphere and great food. Especially the big dining room is something else. It is close to Kullen, where you can do very nice hikes if you are in for an active holiday. Varmly recommend this place in picturesque Arild.
