I am not sure where the other reviewers stayed but we stayed in the room outside the main house that has a bathroom outside.  Let's start with the good.  Room has wifi.  Owners were nice.  Breakfast was a la carte.  The room was big.  Great location.  Now, the not so good.  On one side of the room, there were blinds/curtains.  On the other side, there was nothing covering the windows so at 4 in the morning when the sun rises,  you are up!  The other drawback was the bathroom was outside.  Even though it was 10 feet away, when it is raining,  it isn't so convenient.  Plus the bathroom was just not nice.  The door did not have a lock although the door to the toilet and shower had one.  The shower head did not hang.  The shower did not drain well.  There was no extra toilet paper.  For the price you pay, you expect more.  Maybe the other reviewers stayed in the main house!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Unfortunately just one night. Hosts very good - excellent communication when we booked. Teenage kids stayed in a twin room - us in double. 
Guest house is beautiful. And amazing location. The village is right on the shores of the Baltic and absolutely stunning. We had a lovely walk round in the morning. 
Food in the restaurant was great too - both dinner and breakfast. My wife needed gluten and dairy free. This was no problem at all and hosts looked after her extremely well. 
All in all great place to visit. Thoroughly recommend. 
Hosts also made some good suggestions on places to visit on our drive north the next day. 


What a fabulous spot

In a small town on the East coast of Sweden is this delightfully restored home, now a B & B with attention to keep the decor in the period when it was originally built.  Our room was large with a lovely view over the harbor and a delightful area to walk around.  Our room had English TV and the breakfasts were ample.  The only suggestion I have is for darker curtains to block out the very early-rising summer sun in Sweden.  The hosts also own and manage the restaurant across the street.  We enjoyed our visits with them as well as the food they offered.  If you want a lovely and quiet place to stay with friendly hosts, who speak excellent English, this is the place for you.

Great Hosts and Scenery

I stayed here with family from across Sweden and overseas celebrating a family event. The Guesthouse, facilities and hosts were awesome as were the people of the village. Highly recommended if you're traveling along the Swedish east coast between Stockholm and Copenhagen.

A hidden gem on the south east coast

On the East coast of Sweden you find very close to the sea the beautiful mansion Lyckans Guesthouse. The owners live on the grounds and love and take care for their surroundings. They have the ambition to operate a B&B were they themselves (as experienced travelers) would like to stay. We liked the place (also because there is a nice restaurant opposite the place). The breakfast was rather simple compared to the many mornings we had breakfast in other Swedish B&B's and in comparison the price of the night was at the higher segment.
