4 Rum Bed And Breakfast 

We tried to find an "Air BnB" near Stockholm, and kept on running into problems, so we turned back to standard B and B's. We wanted to stay near Stockholm, but not have to pay the cost of being inside the city, and found this place. Run by a great couple, Ulla-Britt and Bo, this is a former factory they've turned into a B and B with 4 rooms-- get it? It's in a quiet residential neighborhood, not far from Bromma airport, but easy access to transit. We took the airport transfer bus from Arlanda to Bromma, but got out at a stop that was 4 blocks from 4Rum and easily found it. The house is a "work in progress" from the outside, but on the inside it's fabulous. We were the only guests so we got use of the family room that has it's own kitchen, but the rest of the rooms were very nice. It has a beautiful breakfast room that we didn't use, but lots of space. We spent 4 nights here and really liked it. Transit to Stockholm via the T-bana is about a 8 minute walk (Sundbyberg), and buses to Drottingholm Palace are only a 4 minute walk. We bought extra food from the local grocery stores (there are 3 to choose from) and there are other places to shop as well. There are some nearby restaurants, but none that served traditional Swedish food, sigh-- so we ate at O'Leary's pub and The Bishop's Arms-- but the other nights we ate in downtown, so who cares? What was best about this was the price-- Stockholm is expensive, so finding a nice, quiet, and inexpensive place to stay is the best!
