We stayed two nights in this B&B in the last week of august. The house is absolutely comfortable and the owner is a very kind woman. When we arrived she explained us what to see all around Bohusland. There is a lot of information for the guests. 
There is a big kitchen and a living room. It is posible to cook your own meal. 
The roooms are quite good and espacious. There is also a private terrace for each room. 
The breakfast is very good, with quality products. 
We will return if we travel again to Sweden. 

Wonderful stay 

The environment is very nice and it rained non-stop one of the two days. The breakfast is very good, including some homemade items. It has a large kitchen well equipped with a large living room, all for the use of customers.

Estate as at home

The accommodation was very relaxed. Although we had booked a B&B, we got an upgrade to an apartment. This was with a raised balcony overlooking a berry field and forest. From the accommodation there are good opportunities for visiting various small Swedish villages as well as hiking on the islands of Astol and Dyrön. Kayak trips are also offered nearby. We enjoyed the camping in the countryside very much.

Very relaxed accommodation for switching off

Comfortable, simple......appetitive and with great attention to detail arranged breakfast German-speaking landlords very quietly laying down the only lack, so thin walls bright ear must reserve in advance

Pure Sweden

We stayed here for just one night - and I am sure we will return for more nights as the experience was wonderful. Lekanders is a bit off the beaten path, and unfortunately the public transport connections are not the best. But wow, is it worth it.

The place offers peace and quiet at a whole new level. The rooms are basic but decorated with gusto and simplicity. The owners, extremely welcoming and happy to be flexible to help their guests. Oh, and the breakfast. Just the most amazing freshly-baked bread and home-made jam. What a delight.

Once you're at Lekanders you can hike down to the beaches just south from there, or drive down to beautiful Klädesholmen and Skärhamn. Or, if you are there during the summer, apparently you can pick fresh berries from their garden. Or, you know, just sit back in the garden, enjoy the sun and read until your stress levels drop below zero.

It doesn't get more relaxing than this

We stayed at Lekanders on our first 3 nights in Sweden. The location is fantastic on the beautiful Tjörn island. The b&b used to be a pig farm but now the stable has been transformed in a couple of nice apartments. Everything is available what a good apartment should have, completed with a very nice terrace and corresponding view. The breakfast was also very good with nice cheeses, meat, yoghurt, etc. We very much enjoyed our stay. In particular my 3y old daughter liked the dog Siri and cat Dorus. Lekanders is situated only a short 45 minute drive from Gothenburg. We recommand Lekanders as a must stay when you are in the area and want to enjoy the island.

Nice and tranquil place on beautiful Tjörn island

We were at a loss where to stay in stenungsund die to our plans falling through.
Thankfully we found lekanders.
GPS does throw some dodgy directions at you but we found it. 
Being short notice we were given a choice of rooms.
Room was lovely and large and incredibly clean. Bed was very comfortable.
Our hosts were fantastic. Chatted to anso who was incredibly friendly. Showed us the ropes and announced breakfast would be in our wing. 
Shown where the coffee machine was (important in my world) and left to relax.
Breakfast was excellent. Home made bread and jams. Cheeses and hams.
In the summer the family grow strawberries.
The homestead has been in the same family since 1600's and the 9th generation of family are the owners.
Packed our bags and took some baking for our road trip to oslo.
Our room was massive and equipped with bunks that any child would love.
We loved the B&B so much we will be returning Sunday on our way back to Göteborg.
Tjorn is a handy location and not far from either stenungsund or skärhamn on the island if you want to take in a fishing village. 

Cosy and retro

From the warm check-in (and warm welcome from the courtyard dog) to the nicely furnished room with a comfortable bed, the raw living room kitchen to the great breakfast, everything was just for comfort! Almost perfect!

Holidays in the country

We booked a double on the day of arrival and were upgraded to the apartment. 
 Lovely simple furnishings, quiet, comfortable beds (did not try the bunk beds)  Good water pressure, excellent breakfast.  Really excellent, homemade breads and strawberry jam, lots of choices and run by on of the best innkeepers around.  Anso is informative, chatty-not too much, and kind  She found a dentist for us,  Second dentist on our trip.  Very helpful and honestly friendly.

Stayed an Extra night

The property has all the best features of a real B&B: rustic furnishings, spacious cuisine available to customers, breakfast with local products (excellent homemade marmalades), rustic and ample bathroom in the bedroom (almost impossible to find in Swedish B&Bs): The house price and price ratio are very nice and available for a large room, especially in the southern part of the village, the house has a large kitchen and a large bathroom (especially in the southern part of the village), the house has a large kitchen and a large bathroom (especially in the southern part of the village), the house has a large kitchen and a large bathroom (especially in the southern part of the village), the house has a large kitchen and a large bathroom (especially in the southern part of the village).
