What should of been a wonderful 3 day / night memory stay for my husbands birthday , became a stay of irritation. Starting with buying a package that had a summer buffet only to find the buffet ended in the first half of August though I purchased the package after it ended so was given choice of menu items. The personnel in the Restaurant/Spa/Housekeeping are 5 stars. However check in personnel were impersonal and gave very little information at check in. The restaurant while good food is not set correctly NO SALADS OF ANY KIND, no light meals so very heavy dinners. Not a lot of choice in their set weekly menu for those with lighter appetites. Raw meat dishes or shrimp selection as starters along with one vegan starter. No lunch on Saturdays. 
Breakfast buffet was wonderful. 

No water boilers in room or coffee machines. Though in evening a capsule machine was placed on counter with coffee capsules for guests after spa closed at 7.  

Rooms are inconvenient for long stay no where to put your clothes away like socks underwear etc. 4 hangers to hang clothes up. What was a supposed double superior room was on par with regular double room without closet or dresser at a regular hotel. Double superior room had one comfortable seat one desk chair and small table. Not comfortable seating for two.

Outside roof terrace was a Mess, wooden chairs that have not been oiled in a very long time. Impersonal uncared for area with a textile rug left to the weather elements. Nothing materially that changes this so called resort spa into anything other than an impersonal big hotel. While it has a calming outside of nature, a nice relax area of hot tub and saunas and mineral ritual scrub as well as the daylight room, the hours for this are 10 am to 7 pm. Outsiders not staying at hotel also buy passes. Unless your spa is included in price of room it is extremely expensive to use the facility! You need to book your time in the swim spa area max 3 hours. You need to book dinner time.  No ice machines . Have to go to main building to get glass of ice as the spa building has limited ice.  

While the hotel has a wonderfully superb multi-cultural team, someone needs to take another look at how it is run! It was definitely NOT worth almost $600.00 dollars for 3 nights!!!! The absolute only thing I can honestly recommend is the personnel. The rest you can pay half the price for and get better accommodations even in Sweden.

The rooms are small. Our room were not 100% clean... And the rooms are located far away from the SPA and the dining room. Umbrellas are at your disposition, but even so, it's not nice to walk that long distance in the rain nicely dressed up for dinner...

Lundsbrunns Kurort is a hotel I never will stay at again. Both our hotel rooms smelled of mold and bathrooms were dirty. Beds are hard and uncomfortable.

We ordered food when we arrived. After waiting a long time the food finally arrived and was lukewarm and looked like leftovers from another meal. Kids didn't even want to eat.

The young girl in the reception was kind and helped my 12 year old son to connect to the free internet the hotel offered. The surprise was therefore huge when after our holiday we received a bill of 260 Euros for the use of internet. We tried to get in touch with the manager for several weeks, he didn't reply our mails or call us back when we asked him to. After 3 weeks we finally got an answer – he was not even willing to discuss the case or meet us half way – even though his staff did wrong. 

All in all a bad hotel – stay away.

We will never book this hotel ever again

On arrival, the staff in the reception was nice and helpful. But as I arrived early in the morning the room was not ready. At noon when the room was ready and everybody wanted to get hold of their rooms, there was only one person in the reception, resulting in a long waiting time. This was a thing that was obvious through out my stay, the lack of staff, the negligence of the staff, the lack of knowledge in the staff all resulting in long waiting times at dinner or lunch, slow and unwilling service in the bar. 
The rooms are simple, one night is ok, the beds are ok, the linen nothing special. 

There is to my liking no sense of being at a spa or a place for recreation. 

Coming to the food it is just passable and the service as described above.

I would strongly advise against using this for a conference or a holiday.

Lundsbrunn was in all aspects a disapointment

This grey season is not the most flattering, I know but still this place is rather ugly. Old, but not pretty old, (60s school-style)buildings scattered on brown grass. Empty spaces filled with uncomfortable furniture or just empty. And no people. Our conference constitute the only guests here, which would have been wonderful if the place was smaller and more on the cute side. Now it just feels sad walking around in the empty spaces looking at stone staircases and carpets that were probably top of the line in the late 80´s, but looks rather misplaced and ugly now.
The SPA is closed, so there is nothing to do but work (the weather is freezing cold and windy unfortunately, but I can hardly blame that on the staff). 

However, the rooms are small but rather pretty (much better than the rest of the spaces) with WiFi but no fridge. food is ok. Quite nice even with slow-cooked meat and perfectly cooked fish (lunch). The sauce to go with the meat at dinner was bland, but altogether the food is the best feature here.

Somewhat disappointing place but with nice food

My first time at a Spa and I wasn't disappointed, especially when I found out there was only about 8 other guests compared to about 300 the previous weekend, nice location in a small village in the Swedish countryside with pleasant, helpful staff.

Room:
Our room was in a complex a short walk from the restaurant & Spa, the room was clean, well maintained with a Flat Screen TV, free WiFI, shower and toilet, but the room was bit on the small side and was a bit of a squeeze to get into the bed, but it was very comfortable and we slept good. It was a bit hot in the for my liking, but this is normal in Sweden in the winter.  

Food:
We arrived early and ate a really nice lunch, a lunch buffet with fresh breads, a fantastic mixed mushroom soup, pickled herrings, salads, salmon and isterband sausage.
The evening meal was even better with a perfect lamb dish.
Breakfast the next day was ok, but nothing special, a typical Swedish/Continental buffet.
The second lunch buffet was also really good, with cod and a pawn sauce or Goulash soup.
Drinks and fruit were freely available at the Spa.

Spa:
As I said, this was my first time at a Spa so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it was a nice building with friendly staff who informed us of all the facilities and helped us with bath robes, towels and sandals.
In the Spa were Saunas, a heated pool with jet steams, a steam room, bubble pool, a room with hot spring water in a copper trough with jugs hanging around it, no idea what it was for! There were massages, oil treatments,  a sun room and other activities available at an extra cost, we didn't try these though.

Overall a nice, relaxing 24 hours and will probably visit again in the future.
It is a large complex and I can imagine if it was full of guests it would have been another experience, with queues ect.

We stayed just one night. Nice place, good beds.
Between Room, Restaurant und Spa only by going outside. Have to cross street.
It is not possible to get to WC should same time one taking a shower - except getting wet!
Food was delicous. Strange to pay extra for dessert while dinner was included. 2000 SEK for one night at this standard - sorry. One would expect really something else. We won't book there again.
