Very charming place with nice and clean rooms. We had a room on the second floor with view overlooking the garden in the front. The food in their restaurant was excellent. Homely food that made your heart warm and that brought memories of childhood dinners.
Friendly staff and the proprietor looked after all our needs including both children and dogs.
Warmly recomend this place.

Unique family owned escape on a fab Island. We nearly had the place to ourselves... Great room, clean and fresh... Food was really good and terriffic staff. If you wonna wind down this is a must visit

Beautiful escape from our weekday

This bed and breakfast is a truly special place. Ann-Sofie and Emma made us feel very welcome. Being off-season we had the place to ourselves which made the stay more enjoyable. Breakfast each morning was a feast and delicious, as were lunch and dinner. The ladies were very helpful with regards the local area. Visingso is a truly beautiful island set in the lake Vattern and even though it was lovely to experience it so peaceful in the winter, we will definitely be back in the summertime to see the island alive!

Winter getaway all to ourselves

If you are looking for peace and quiet, very good home cooked food, long roams in a rural environment with plenty of history - this is the place for you. Cosy rooms and a big garden, bicycles free of charge. Everything in the island closes early - except for when special events take place - but the staff at the pension will supply you with whatever you need at any time as long as you ask in advance. Beds are comfy and the rooms pretty. Breakfast with home baked bread and lots more.

Silent hideaway

We arrived on our motorbikes, b&b is easy to find. Lady who runs it is very friendly, makes you feel at home - and is a superb Cook. Her husband works as a ferrymaster on the boat, there is nothing about the Island those two do not know. We were the only guests that particular night. Slept with window open, wonderful! Dinner was cooked with fresh fish, breakfast could be enjoyed outside. Phantastic service, great bed, Clean bathroom with good shower. We spent one day crusing the Island and got plenty of ideas from the landlady. We will come back - and were made to feel very much at home. Ask for fish - you will not regret it!
