An ideal place for a vacation. My family and I stayed in a camping house. Very clean, everything you need is there. Separate toilet and laundry room with sauna in the house! 🤩 The beach is close by, you can sunbathe, swim, play volleyball and football. When coming from the beach, you can use the outdoor shower to wash off the sand. The town is about 4 km away, you can rent bikes. Pleasant forest trails across the road. In the camping area, you can play mini golf, grill, use the kitchen, which has everything you need. During our vacation, it was very quiet at night, nothing disturbed our sleep. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend a visit! Thank you for a great vacation!

An ideal place for a vacation.

For the second time we stayed at this nice campsite. We stayed at the hostel for the simple reason that it was a bit cheaper than the cabins (which are much nicer) and so cleaning was included as we were in a bit of a hurry to move on to our final destination. The room was nice and there was plenty of space. The kitchen and bathroom were shared with the other guests. It is walking distance to a really nice beach where there is a playground for the children. It is shallow. a well-visited place. There is also a slightly nicer restaurant next to the beach and you get the feeling that it is a bit more luxurious. This holiday destination is definitely worth a visit both as a guest and as a camper. 

The negative

The bunk bed was not bolted to the wall even though I told them it was not fixed. The hall floor is not insulated, so it makes a lot of noise when you walk, e.g. on the toilet in the middle of the night. The freezer was full of food so there was no place to store frozen goods (it looked like the food in there had been sitting for quite a while. Couldn't lock the shower room, but anyone could come in and go to the toilet when you were in there. And the women's toilet was frequently used by men when the toilet was busy (it was possible to go to the service house if the toilet was busy)

The positive

Great service!

För andra gången så stannade vi på denna fina camping. Vi bodde på vandrarhemmet av den enkla anledningen att den var lite billigare än stugorna (som är mycket finare) och så ingick städningen då vi hade lite bråttom att åka vidare mot vårt slutmål. Rummet var trevligt och det var gott om plats. Man delade kök med de andra gästerna samt badrum. Det är gångavstånd till en riktigt trevlig strand där det finns en lekplats för barnen. Det är långgrunt. ett välbesökt ställe. Det finns också en lite finare restaurang i anslutning till stranden och man får den känslan att den är lite lyxigare. Detta semestermål är definitivt värt ett besök både som gäst och som campare. 

Det negativa

Våningssängen var inte fastskruvad i väggen trots att jag sa till så åtgärdades det inte. Hallgolvet är inte isolerat så det låter ordentligt när man skall gå t.ex. på toaletten mitt i natten. Frysen var full med mat så det fanns ingen plats att förvara frysvaror (det såg ut som maten som låg däri hade legat en bra stund. Gick inte att låsa till duschrummet utan vem som helst kunde komma in och gå på toa när man var där inne. Och toaletten för kvinnor användes frekvent av män när toaletten var upptagen (det gick att gå på servicehuset om toaletten var upptagen)

Riktigt trevlig camping



Spontaneously rented a cabin at this nice campsite located in Hudiksvall. Very nice decent service house, mini golf course, beach nearby. Nice staff and a fairly well-stocked kiosk (camping stuff) may think that the price for a four-bed cottage can feel a bit high, but that's just acceptable during the holidays.

Spontanhyrde en stuga på denna trevliga camping som ligger i Hudiksvall. Väldigt fint hyfsade servicehus, minigolfbana, badstrand i närheten. Trevlig personal och ganska välfylld kiosk (campingsaker) kan tycka att priset för en fyrbäddsstuga kan kännas lite högt men det är väl bara att acceptera i semestertider. 

Trevlig camping 

Campingspots next to a busy road and when we visited next to a construction site where they were building new bungalows. No water points on the site you have to go to the building. Reletively expensive also.

Disappointing

No longer part of STF but gave the 5 of us a discount on two rooms anyway as we were just out of season (late aug). A little way out of town so need car to reach it. Hostel is small surrounded by caravan park and cabins but there is a sauna! Sadly we were not there long enough to use it. Spotlessly clean and typical high STF standard. Easy access to E4.

Nice beachside location; not STF

We slept in the hostel. It was very quiet. The Camping spot does not seem special or authentic. The room was small but okay - the staff was nice but not very talky. The kitchen in the hostel was quiet comfortable.

Nice hostel without special charme

Classic hostel + camping with shared facilities. All the kids were awake at 7 a.m. on a Sunday... and you get no chance to sleep longer as the walls are razor-thin (you can hear snoring in stereo from the other guests). Cleaning added 100 SEK, breakfast 65 SEK/person, and internet is around 50 SEK/day. In the end you can probably stay cheaper at a hotel.

Go here for the beach, the peaceful location, and a chance for the kids to roam freely. They will love this. We didn't.
