The stay was beyond amazing. The owners and staff were all welcoming and made me feel welcome.
The room was very comfortable and spacious with lots of unique touches.
The food from breakfast to the dinners were amazing, the taste and presentation.
The spaces from the attic to the basement were all tastefully and comfortable.
I truly enjoyed the visit and would recommend Slottsvillan.

Slottsvillan in August glory

Family owned small hotel with 12 rooms in the beatiful villa that used to belong to the director of the neighbouring Husqvarna factory. The interiour throughout the villa is both tasteful and traditional. We stayed in a spacious room with good facilities and amazing views towards the garden and the town of Husqvarna. Based on the description of the breakfast both on the website and in the in-room information we looked very much forward to this meal with local produce and home-made bread. However, the dairy products were lukewarm because there was no cooling and the bread was already sliced and dry. The manager acknowledged that the bread was dry and told us that the reason why they cut the bread beforehand was one case with a guest who had an accident with the bread knife. It is a pity that such an incident should impact all others’ breakfast.

Beautiful villa hotel

This old Villa is beautifully renovated and run by people with passion. Quiet, private and with excellent food and wine. Highly recommended for a couple of days off and a perfect place for board meetings, off-site conferences or management meetings. Possible to rent the entire villa for an acceptable price.

Worderful boutique Hotel with excellent service

A wonderful stop-over between Stockholm and Gothenburg. This family run hotel with  historical environment, excellent food and wines is a perfect stay if you want to come out of the noisy cities. Definitely a top score from us. We'll come back!

A pearl!

We had a truly excellent stay at Slottsvillan. The service was amongst the best we have had anywhere in the world and certainly the best we have had in Sweden. The food and wine were delicious, served in the impressive dining room that once served the Directors of Husqvarna. The hotel has been tasteful decorated to respect its past but is also comfortable informal and relaxing. We can strongly recommend a stay at Slottsvillan and send a big thank you to Michaela and Christian for taking such a good care of us and making us feel very special.

An outstanding stay

The hotel has seriously upgraded over the past months since I was there last! Im very happy that the hotel still keeps the intimate feeling with a touch of inspirational pieces. These is no other hotel I’d rather stay with, especially as this should be categorised as a designer hotel.

Amazing development!

The moment you step into the Slottsvillan
 hotel you are transferred to another era. The hotel is cosy and grand at the same time. We had a wonderful stay in a comfortable room overlooking the garden. The hotel offers lots of social space to sit down and enjoy the views, have a coffee or a drink, play pool etc. For a really relaxing stay you should book the dinner  served in the beautifully decorated dining room. Every room in Slottsvillan reveals a sense of managing the details while never letting go of the main vision. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome.

Time travel

Beautiful stylish decorated castle breaths welth, comfort and pleasure. You can feel the joy of the owners to make it a special experience for you. There is been paid much attention to the details of the luxury designed rooms. The owner is very friendly and hospitable. The personal is super motivated. The castle holds a great history. It was the house of the directors families of the Husqvarna factory. The museum is next to the factory. The breakfastbuffet is also luxury and of good quality. We will come back. This a very special advendture.

Extraordinary luxury experiencethe

Great care and love for design! I would recommend everyone who wants to have a extraordinary experience. Luxury designed with beautiful details. Owners are passioned in their work. The whole place feels a live and is inspiring. On top of a place above the city. Great view, beautiful trees in the garden.

Excellent experience

This hotel will stick out in my mind as the decor is what I wish my house looked like!  It's designed like the most stylish boutique hotel, but at a fraction of the cost. Similar feelings about the amazing food - if this was in a major city the restaurant would be considered a foodie haven.  The proprietors were lovely, made us feel very well looked after and cosy, but also leave you be to do your own thing -- a perfect balance for a B&B. Would like to find a reason to go back!
