The hostel is off center and readilyaccessible. Between the hostel and manor lies a kindergarten and nursinghome.
The small manor is wooden, creaking floorboards and a bit underinsulated. Also, charming with a romantic feel  in decor. Comfortable beds, OK plumbing and breakfast served in the hostel is alright

The manor house is romantic

Easy check in, in spite of the fact that I arrived very late. Free car park. Clean and tidy room, okey for basic needs, free WiFi. Friendly staff in the reception. Basic breakfast buffe, staff there seem to not notice the guests though. 

Övernattning

It was very nice for us to be able to be in this nice "herrgård" from 1700 century, which of course has been heavily renovated. We like old buildings and this suited our taste very much!
Antique furniture, cosy interior, makes the staying very indicated if one is searching for some simple and charming place to stay.
The room we got was quite big, with one extra bed and space for us to have a camping bed for our smallest kid.
On the minus side, there were not night curtains, so the room was quite lit until late, which made our life a bit more complicated with two already excited kids. Also, when entering the room a very weird stench of "feet/not refreshed air" was allover the place. It seems there was a bit rough air circulation.
The toilets were not too far off, I minded though having to walk through some plastic floor, some nice wooden floor would have been fitting the environment better. 
Two toilets were quite small, no much space to put your own bags, reasonably clean, one with a leaking tap.
Another bathroom had a shower. Still no space where to put clothes or bags and a very very filthy shower curtain!!!
Another "bad" side of the place was the sound propagation. One could hear other people walking in the rooms and opening/closing the door was quite a concert.
For having breakfast, one has to walk a while to reach the hostel part of the hotel. The building seemed quite fresh and well kept. 
We were almost alone in the small breakfast room. The style was a mix of modern and colonial. The breakfast was very simple, typical swedish. A bit boring, but probably very ok for a Swedish palate. 
There could be a bigger selection of locally produced food or at least some organic one.
Price was reasonable, position quite convenient. I think it is perfect if one is not aiming at extraordinary luxury but good prices.

A cosy one night staying

Very good hostel. Clean. Easy breakfast. Sheets paying separate. Bus stop close. Recommend. When come doors was closed in 5 p.m., but you can order code for endurance door. Personal is very frendly. Next time will be stay here again.

Good

We stayed here only one night during our trip to Sweden last June. I must say this was the best hostel of our trip. The building is new and very clean, rooms and common places are wide, tidy and full of light. The staff was very kind and we could easily arrange our arrival past the recetion opening time. Recomended.

Excellent hostel

Rosendala Gård is a low budget hotel in conjunction with a youth hostel. The hotel is in an old but renovated building with squeaky wooden floors, old furniture and a lot of atmosphere. The location is ideal: near the motorway from Helsingborg to Stockholm but still very quiet. Breakfast was good but served in the youth hostel building, which meant a 200-metre-walk in the rain for us. Other things I was not impressed by were bad reading lights, a dripping tap and bathroom lights that were on a timer, which sometimes meant they went off when you were still in there! You had to go out of the bathroom to put them on again!

Atmospheric but some impracticalities

I stayed one night and I was really happy about the room and the standards compared to the price. Clean and simple. I stayed in a room with a toilet. Showers in the hallway that were up to standards. I will definitely choose this place again if I stay in the area.

Nice budget alternative

Price was good but it was unpracticle to have not have a toilet and shower in the room because it squeaked a lot when you walked and people could hear your footsteps. Also when you opened and close the door it made a lot of noise. But the toilets and shower we had to share were clean. 

The room was nicely decorated.
You could hear well the people talking living on the floor above you. I was on the ground floor.

The receptionist did her job well but gave an average image of just doing her job. She was not the most heart warming and friendly type.

The breakfast was average. The breakfast room was decorated in the style that the owner likes. The Lexington style. Well done and nice but somehow it was dry. The whole place was a bit dry but clean and professional.

The price is really good, so if you are a bit low on budget, its a good place to stay on a business trip.
