I would describe Nordiska as a large 'ranch' with smaller houses scattered in a very quiet wooded area. From what I understood, it's a place where courses are given, and  which is vacant when there is nothing scheduled. The rooms are big, clean, and basic. Each bungalow, that holds several rooms with private bathrooms, has a common area that includes a living room and a kitchenette. The dining hall where breakfast is served, is in the main building and is very pleasant and clean.

Not your typical B&B

Under the pressure of finding suitable accommodation in the area in the short term, I came across Nordiska Folkhögskolen Bed and Breakfast. It is located in a secluded area, very quietly above Kungälv with a wonderful view of landscape and castle. You are accommodated in individual houses with individual rooms. Kitchens, sanitary rooms and living rooms are used together. So it depends on the (uncalculated) occupancy how pleasant the stay will be. Apart from this, the rooms are clean and purposeful, the beds OK. The staff in the main building is very friendly, the breakfast is adequate.

Price performance unbeatable

We stayed one night for a concert in Göteborg. The location is in a bit woody area, beautiful view of the castle Bohus Fastning and the village. We had a good night rest. The room is in such a hut away from the main building, small but was clean. Enough choice for the breakfast, there was some foods that we din't expect it, fish. Well, chosed other, btw.

B&B in a Nice Area

Our family of four (2 adults/2 teens) stayed for 2 nights here.  It was perfect.  Quiet, away from the mayhem, beds were comfortable and the showers were hot.  It was all pretty basic, but I loved it and the breakfast was more than enough.  Having a rental car was a plus if you are staying at this location.

I don't have any complaints and would recommend this place as long as you aren't looking for anything fancy.

Perfect stay for a family

We stayed here for our visit to Göteborg. Visiting a concert of Bruce SpringsteEn at the Ullevi Stadium. It's cheaper than downtown but also very basic. For you who don't look for luxury and have a rental car it's perfect (20min drive/ 22 km). The breakfast is good. Enough Bread and cheese and local stuff and coffee light!!!!


Very Basic B&B 

Nice rooms and good breakfast.  We had lunch there on 2 occasions and it was of good value.

It is a bit far from the main part of the city if you dont have a car/bicycle.  One time when walking back I saw a deer, a large hare and 2 foxes.
