Lovely rural guesthouse surrounded by fields and a beautiful tree lined track leading up to the main house. We stayed in the main building, which was close to the breakfast / dining room and the two sitting rooms.Food was homemade and tasty, with a decent selection of drinks to go with it. If the weather holds, there is a small pool and seats outside to enjoy the long summer days. The two sitting rooms had many hunting trophies on the walls including some recent additions. If that's not your thing maybe best to avoid. Helpful friendly staff, would definitely recommend.

Rural retreat

Our 4 person family room was located in a block at the rear of the main building, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We arrived in the dark so didn't appreciate the gorgeous countyside until the following morning. There was a good  choice at breakfast. 
The original owner of this property was keen on hunting and the drawing room is adorned with animal trophies, bullets and shooting distances plaques, if this offends you perhaps this is not the place for you.

Country manor hotel

We spent one night at the hotel. We stayed at the annex house since that is where the family rooms are located.
We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers.
The room was big. Enough to hold us and was ok.
I expected that they would pay a bit more attention to the details that would make the traveler life easier, for example:
The device that is used to hang the shower head was broken and long gone, but was not replaced so you had to hold the shower head in your hand to shower...
It is summer and they are located in the middle of a field area so flying bugs are in the thousands. No bug nets on the windows which as a result could not be opened to let some fresh air in.
Bottom line, very nice place but look out for the small stuff.
Good value for the price.

Rustic manor in the heart of Sweden

It was clean with wifi and comfortable bedding in a luxurious looking room. However, parking is forbidden in front of the manor so you got to carry your luggage all the way there, and the faucets in the bathroom were chaotic : the lime scale on the faucets mustn't have been cleaned for a while.

Nice manor

Positive - 

Absolutely beautiful setting. We loved the countryside feel, the lovely surroundings, the horses, cows, dogs and cats. The room was clean and spacious. The view of the pasture was amazing. It was lovely to walk around and enjoy the quiet surroundings.

We loved swimming in the pool - it was clean and warm. The pool deck was lovely to sit and have a drink. 

We enjoyed taking with other families and relaxing .

Negative -

The dishes were dirty. We couldn't understand how glasses, plates etc were repeatedly dirty - at breakfast and dinner. 

We saw our food being warmed in the microwave .... it tasted ok ... but it put us off a bit. 

We are not into trophy hunting and both sitting rooms are adorned with stuffed  hunted animals..... if you are against trophy hunting it may be best to skip out on this place.  

There needs to be more staff around to help guests feel comfortable. Upon arrival at 3pm we couldn't find anyone. There are no staff available after 9 pm ..... we understand it is family run but someone should be around.

This place is absolutely beautiful and with a little sprucing up it would be a secluded paradise. We enjoyed ourselves
