My friend had booked sheets and towel with a person through the phone. When we got there after closing time, there were no sheets in the room. We tried calling/texting their mobile number, thinking they would check it for emergencies. We got no response!
Mistakes can happen, but they did not even apologize. We did get a cheaper price, but their treatment was not nice! 
Most places have a phone number for emergencies, but not this place.

Basic rooms but cheap. Several rooms share one small kitchen. This can be a problem when sleeping times between rooms are not in sync. There is a big kitchen on the site. Rooms have their own Location is in residential area near the Göta canal. No view.

Basic but cheap

Spartan but sufficiently clean and comfortable. Excellent location as well. Taking the bus from Linköping, we got off the bus at Bergs slussar, then followed the canal till we got to Ljungsbro. The vandrarhem was by the canal, just a short walk in via a peaceful-looking neighbourhood. Staff was very friendly. 

Very affordable and well-located

I spent one night there. Was given to me a twin bedroom, even spending the night with my wife. As soon I arrived at reception, I saw a brochure of the place with a double bed picture, anyway... The guy in the reception told to me the WI-FI work in all property, but wasn't. I was in the middle of nowhere, with no phone, and no internet services (as the receptionist said: provided for us)
I put the beds together (by myself) and tried to sleep. 
No heating in the room. (outside feeling like 0º C.) and only one tiny blanket was left on the bed (without any cover liners)
Was told to me that my flat was going to be empty all night long, just me in one of the rooms. But at 1 A.M., 3 persons had arrived in the apartment making a lot of noise, trying to open my bedroom door (because in the key just do not have any clear information about apartment and bedroom).
I was expecting at least a warm and confortable room, because in the toilete's door had a stamp as "3 STARS HOTEL", and my experience was far from 1 star hotel. 
airbnb have many options around there, and will be my next option, for sure.
Wasn't asked any ID, or passport at the check in, so, anyone could be there. 
reminding: no internet, no phones, no security at all.

far from expected

Ljungsbro Vandrarhem is a very good way to spend the night cheaply. It could be set up a little better but otherwise it is sufficient. The night costs 295 DKK. The good thing is that the Vandrarhem neighborhood has the sports hall and swimming hall which you can use for free as a guest in the Vandrarhem.
