Anouk was a great lap dancer and very good at cleaning my room. I would recommend this place to everyone in the whole world. The best thing in the world is to come back to your room after a hard working day and Anouk have cleaned your room

Mucho bueno

I had the pleasure to stay at this wonderful accommodation during a recent business trip. I have to say I am impressed, the staff, was very welcoming and extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious and upon request, our lovely waitress even brought out a variety of vegan options! My room was very cosy, with a touch of vintage in its design and not to forget a heavenly comfortable mattress. The sauna was my absolute highlight. The professional sauna master Joran offered a wide range of relaxing oils and a and refreshing drinks afterwards. Summing up my this stay exceeded my expectations and I will be back for sure.

Unique atmosphere

The atmosphere of this hotel is great. The hotel employees is very gentle. If you have freetime, there are a lot of organised events like boardgame-evenings or movienights.
The food is awesome. The variety reaches from italien (they have a real italien 3-star chefcook) to brasilien or typical german and swedish food.

Best hotel ever!!!!!!!

The stay at Hotel Ideon Gasteri is an exeptional and very social experience.
The people and the service are great. You can watch the rabbits from the common area relax on the couches and have a nice sauna on the thrid floor. 
In the common area you find people eating harmonicly together or playing card and board games. 
The hotel is close to LTH and just a short bikeride from the city center. In the close vicinity you can go ice skating, bouldering, join a gym, have tee on the train tracks or study at Lund University.
If you need a quiet place you can go to the seminar room, where you can study or play chess on your computer.
I would definetly come here again, I can only recomment it!!!

Great hotel experience

Outmatched all expectations I had for this place! Beautiful rooms and a nice sauna-club which welcomes you kindly. But the best part are the people in it. Lovely staff which is always there for you if needed. Very easy to connect with other cohabitants and explore Lund by day or its nightlife. In addition, it is a very safe place as the firefighters can arrive in a very short time if needed, and a Security-guy is checking the building every day.

Fantastic stay!

Great hotel to have a short or long stay. Also organizes unique events for guests and visitors. The perfect place to “je nek volgieten met goudgele rakkers” as we say in Dutch. I met many fellow palm tree fans, which was very unexpected but an awesome experience!

Great atmosphere, quality food

No words can describe Hotel Ideon. The hair dressers (one called Anouk definitely stood out) were wonderful. Thank you, for this life-changing international experience. I usually don't write reviews, but the fabulousness of my stays at this hotel really have to be captured! 

At ideon it's all about the people - no matter which time you check in, there are always people ready to look after your interests. The very international staff will help you with anything - drinks at the hotelbar, exceptional food (Ceasars Tacos are mythical!) or a relaxing visit in the hotels' own spa. The breakfast options are great too - you should try Amanda's pancakes when there! The rooms are pretty basic, but you would assume that queen size beds are the standard nowadays.. 
One feature worth mentioning is the well-designed elevator - he lifts you up to whole new levels!

The great service, but primarily the staff make this is the best hotel in Lund!

It was such a great experience with friendly people. The best part has to be the Sauna Club Ideon inside the hotel. The directors of the club are such great gentlemen. Loved my stay here!! Cannot wait to come back next time.

Excellent and the best Sauna Club

I'm writing this mostly for the benefit of others who might wonder what has happened to Hotell Ideon Gästeri's web site. I contacted them by e-mail on 2018-Sep-18 to make a booking, as I always liked to stay there when visiting companies at Ideon, and was informed that the hotel has closed. I think the "big box" hotel that popped up across the street has put them out of business. The Gästeri was a great little hotel, with friendly service, clean and comfortable rooms, and a nice breakfast area. It will be missed.
