It's a very nice campsite, but: places are in the woods, so if it's already cold, it's probably less ideal.

Small campsite in a nice location

In the off-season (mid-September), we were the only guests at the campsite, so we had free choice with our camper. Nevertheless, the reception was occupied (15 hours) and the host was very friendly. The seats are nicely under trees and two minutes' walk from the lake. The sanitation facilities were fine, the hiking trail was very slippery due to previous rain. Fascinating was the absolute silence at night.

It's all right!

The location is first class, the people are very nice and helpful and the breakfast the next morning was very delicious. Unfortunately, there is a big drop of wormwood at the B & B. The rooms are super bright. We heard the electric toothbrush in the living room as if it were legs in the room. Also, the doors are falling into the castle super loud. Since our house with eight rooms was full, unfortunately, there was no sleeping thought.

Great location on the Vänern lake

Worst owner ever! We wanted to book several rooms and also camping.  We also wanted food. It started that they lost some of our booking. Several times! And when we called to check they were VERY unpolite said it was our fault.  Argued and talked bad about us directly to us! Then they couldnt fix food for us if we were 14 people. We had to be 15! And we couldnt get any place to sit together and eat food we did ourself because we booked different kind of rooms. We had to book all the rooms in one building meaning that the people that booked the more expensive rooms had to change to the cheaper with nothing else than a bed. They were angry at us in all the contacts. Had no sence of servicemindness. At a time of the year out of season you should thought they were happy to get this kind of booking. I never ever talked with such rude people working in a business where service is most important!  Finally we felt unshore there would be any room for us when arriving and with nowhere to socialise with eachother over the whole weekend, we cancelled the booking and found another place on Kållands Ö that was the totally opposite and fixed it all super for us. The owner of this place, well my advice is change work to where you dont need to talk to people!

Tower Hill without John Cleese

I don't mind poor conditions, rooms looked liked not renovated since 50 years, old equipment and all that in high price. The thing I hate is cheating. When we arrived there there was nobody at the recepion, we called the number we had found to ask if we can stay. We agreed on price and were watinig in cold for almost an hour for keys delivery. The next day it apeared that the price is 25% higher because we got different room that it was first agreed. We  weren't informed that we were moved to 'different' room and why was it more expensive. The receptionist was very rude and in the end we just felt robbed. Pity, cause camping had nice location and one could accept poor standard. But with such service and prices? Never again!

Old, stinky and cheating service

A nice little campsite right by the lake, all very clean and well maintained. In the off-season, 200 seconds a night with electricity. Very clean bathrooms, flushed and kept in good condition. Little ones charge with bed and breakfast. Everything is worth it. Only the drive is a pleasure because the access road is very narrow.

Super campsite by the lake

We spent a night here relaxing in the sun enjoying the nearby lakes and forests. You can hire canoes and bicycles to explore further the surrounding area. Recommended sites to visit include the gorgeous Läckö Slott to the North. The only minor gripe would be that the lawn for pitching tents is rather cramped and very close to the main building, etc. All in all however, a great place to stay!

Terrific camping site

We stopped and camped on our canoe tour here on the walls. We can also park or camp mobile phones and RVs. Furthermore, the hotel has houses in which there are rooms to rent. It is called Bed and Breakfast. Man shares the house with up to 5 people, each bedroom is locked only kitchen and shower is shared. With us each family had a house for themselves. Breakfast service is offered for 9 euros. If the reception is not occupied, you can check in by SMS or call the owner. Quietly located only 40m from the sandstorm. Internet site with other info hands.

It's a lovely idyllic place.

We were in Lucknow in the summer of 2015 for two trips. The facility is very nice, right by the lake with a small beach. We rented bikes and went across the peninsula to Lucknow Castle and to a fishing village (spikes). These trips were very nice and well worth it. The rooms are very small and the beds are simple, yet we enjoyed our stay. It is very bright, however, and if you have neighbors with other sleeping rhythms, it could be a very restless night. The whole facility was very clean and the operation was nice. Due to the very good price-performance ratio, I would always come back here!

Nice facility, beautifully situated

Great place! Super location. Lovely homemade breakfast. Marvellous surroundings to play, swim, relax, canoes, bicycles etc. We will be back. Separate houses are shared with 4-5 rooms. Common kitchen if you want to Cook, but do not miss restaurant breakfast !
