Nice camp. I want to visit this place - once more .Very long shallow, with sandy bottom. Great for swimming. There should have been some maintenance in the beach zone.If you're going to rent a cabin. Remember to bring boilers, pans, cutlery and plates. This is not included and they also do not have sales of this inside the camp

Good Camp

Everything is great exept cleanliness and standard at bathrooms and sanity area. Garbage containers too small. Not good. Location is very good and nice beach and excellent playground for the children. Dog-beach 5 min walk away from the camping area. Thumbs up! 

Caravan

Great stay at Siljanbadet. Lovely beach perfect for kids. Quiet and good enviroment. The service area needs an upgrade to be more familyoriented and clean. Nice shop and restaurant in the camping. Good camping site.

Nice camping with great beach

We stayed here in one of the three bedroom cottages as a group of six. The campsite itself is well located on the lake and a few minutes from the centre of town & the train station. 

The cottage was clean and well equipped & the site was clean and quiet. There was a children’s playground which was well utilised by us and a restaurant/ bar which makes very good pizzas! 

Certainly a decent stay for one night. 

Overnight etop

This campsite is situated on the banks of lovely lake Siljan and I'll bet that during summer this is a great place because you are right at the beach and in the water.

However, it's pretty to look at but there's no soul to this campsite. First off it's geared towards RV's and people staying in one of the many cottages. The grass fields everywhere are littered with beer bottle caps and cigarette butts. Not very pleasant when you want to pitch a tent. The showers are old, even though some of them have quite nice water pressure.

The grounds are freely accessible to any member of the public it seems, not just camping guests. So a lot of young people come and hang around, which might explain the cigarettes. At night they play insanely loud music though. The parking lot is also a prime location for people to drift with their cars or something? It's insane! Had the worst sleep here and didn't feel safe at all. 

TLDR: Dirty and past its heyday, only nice thing is the view. Honestly, I would avoid this place at all costs.

Pretty view but that's all it has

If you want to spend your time very close to a friendly lake, then this is the place. Good facilities, quiet environment (sometimes a train is passing), and a fantastic view is giving you good times. Rättvik has all amenities in walking distance. Don't miss the cultural centre with interesting expositions. A place to go in Sweden! 

Great place 

Camping directly on Lake Siljan: a view of a very nice place! My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in a very nice bungalow. The structure is reminiscent of the typical Swedish red houses. Two castle beds, cooking corner and table with benches. If you want you can eat outside as the porch has a table with chairs. Very clean and well maintained bathrooms.

It's a total average and inconspicuous campground.
It's directly on the lake.

They got free WiFi (which should be working allover the campground, I was told).

It's not far to the city.

It's clean.

So nothing outstanding, but a good place to stay.

The campsite is very well situated by the lake, the view is beautiful. Besides it is close to the railway station. We were in one bungalow it was very clean it had everything you need inside. The prices are very correct: for 1 bungalow 2 people with bathroom 525 SEK. In short we had a very good time in this campsite.

Nice campsite.

Great lake side campsite set amongst trees. Excellent canoes for hire, crazy golf and excellent kids play areas. Cabin was a good size, comfortable and clean if a little dated. Staff were very helpfull and efficient as seem to be the norm in Sweden. Loads to do in the area 2 nights just wasnt enough would definitly go back.
