Had to cancel our trip because of Corona. Wrote an email 3 months ago because of a refund and didn't get a reply untill now. After several emails still nobody feels responsible. Will never book something with them again.

Cancelation is a mess

My Mother, Daughter and I stayed here for two nights in February.  The directions the hostel gave us to find them were fantastic, as were the codes to get in - no keys. There were no staff available when we arrived early evening, this did not matter as everything they had given us by email worked, plus there were phone numbers available if we had a problem.  Our own room which could of had four people in it was clean, tidy and safe.  We shared bathrooms with the other guests and were delighted how clean and tidy they were.  A token breakfast was supplied in the morning, coffee, toast, cheese etc, but this is where you have to get your timing right.  There is a limited amount of space to sit, the kitchen feels small with quite a few trying to get to the toaster.  The beds are comfortable, the sheets were good and there was no noise.  This is the best place to stay if you are on a budget or like me you can think of better ways to spend money.  I have a certain tick list when I do a city break and this ticked them all.  Well done to the team that run it.

Perfect location for Stockholm

I don’t understand why the reviews are all decent on this place... it’s supposed to be a hostel so as it is it’s already overpriced. I booked it over the generator because of the free breakfast... what was NOT breakfast at all... unless you call breakfast a piece of stale bread, some jam and a block of cheese. If you stay in the basement prepare to have the creepiest night of your life - especially if you’re a young woman with middle aged men sharing the other cell block beside you... you can hear everything, and the dividing curtains honestly make it worse. I wish I could get a refund let me tell you. AND don’t get me started on the way that you get into your room after hours... the door handle has the smallest code buttons that I couldn’t see in the dark, and didn’t notice because I thought it was braille or something. Only good part about this place was the location. But even that was hard to find. I attached the “breakfast” you can expect.

Save yourself the frustration and disappointment

Located in the strick city center with private rooms avaiable. Everything was super clean. Staff very kind and helpful. Wifi working everywhere without any problem. Visiting in winter it was all warm inside.

Very good hostel

We travel a lot and we are not spoiled but this accomodation was an ultimate dissapointment and has been so far our worst experience.
Besides locality there were no positives.
- dark and gloomy room, no daylight whatsoever
- we had doublebed in shared room which was noisy
- shared bathroom was very tiny and not so tidy 
- room was in the basement without the phone reception
- no space around the bed to store your stuff (only approx. 20 cm from both sides)
- the bedsheet was undone upon our arrival - we had to do it ourself 
- this bedsheet was eventually charged for 130 SEK without any notice, the only found out from the bank account - ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!!!

Disgrace

Perfect location, clean and safe! 
The staff is very helpful. The Bedroom was very comfortable though It was shared. 
Good wifi in the bedroom and lobby. 
Good mini-breakfast (included in the price)

I left my luggage during all day after check out. 

I will come back! 



Great Hostel

I spent 2 nights in a private room at the hostel.  It was easy to locate and the receptionist let me leave my bags in storage as I arrived early and explored the area.  The room was in the basement with no windows, which was perfect after being awake for 47 hours after traveling, and with the 3:45 am sunrise.  I liked the codes on the doors with keyless entry.  The only thing I would add would be shelves for the bathrooms, as all of my things got soaked while showering.  Great hostel in a perfect location!

Great hostel in a central location

Arrived at the hotel about 8am after the long haul flight from Australia and were warmly greeted by the girl at the reception. We were able to leave our bags in the storage room while we went exploring and again the following day after we checked out we again left them there most of the day. We are a family of four and booked a quad room with a double bed (two singles together) and a set of bunks, it was clean and comfortable. The shared bathrooms were not an issue, we never waited and they were very clean. Considering the price of accomodation in Stockholm, and the great location within walk of everything, I think this place was good value for a family or anyone, clean, and homely. Breakfast was also nice with cereals, toast, cheese, jams, coffee, highly recommend. Also a tip... book directly with them rather than a booking site, then they include the price of sheets, otherwise you pay another 65SEK  per person.

Clean and great location!

I had a very nice stay in Old Town Lodge, me and my girlfriend travel a lot and we stay mostly in hostels like this one, but now I can honestly say that this was one of the best we have stayed in. 

First of all the localization is just great, in the heart of Stockholm: close to everything! 10 minutes by walk to the central station, 5 minutes by walk to take a ferry to another islands, it is basically just about walking! And since Stockholms tickets are very expensive that was a great solution for us:)

The hostel itself is very cozy and clean, staff are very nice and helpful, you can ask them anything and they will be happy to help you. We felt very nice welcomed and it looks like they take a good care of this place. 
Breakfast is very simple, but It is more than enough to kick off another good day of sightseeing, moreover there is tea and coffee available all day long, together with some free stuff in a shelf. 

Just be aware of not having a cooking plate: there is a possibility to cook in an oven. Also  the bed sheets cost 65 kronas, we were prepared for that, but I saw some reviews that some people did not noticed so now I am warning:)

The best hostel I stayed in.

We had a room in the shared bedroom without windows (at the basement). It was fine, especially having in mind the price and location. What we've missed was a shelf, or a cabinet to put our stuff on/in. Also, since it is shared bedroom, you can't expect to be in quiet all the time, but there are no ceiling - if you are tall enought you can even see what your neighbours are doing.
The enter to this hostel was fun - many lockers and a map. 
You also must have your own sheets for the bed or pay for it 65SEK, since you are not allowed to use sleeping bag or sleep without the sheets.
The breakfast are fine: toasts, jam, butter, cheese. Coffe and tea is always available.
