We needed a place to stay for the night in Smedstorp and this was the only room we could find on the booking sites. It’s just a small B&B with a few rooms. The one we got had its own entrance at the back side of the house, which was one level lower than the front of the house, so it was like a basement. From the bedroom we could walk through a hallway to the bathroom (a private bathroom with the room we had booked). Pipes were visible along the ceiling. The bathroom floor was partly wet when we arrived, probably because of condensation from a large (water-?) tank that was hidden behind a curtain in the bathroom. There was a bath tub with shower, but no shower curtain, so the floor became wet all around the bath tub when having a shower. There was also some kind of machine beside the tank that turned on and off sometimes, and it was extremely noisy. The bedroom felt damp, like the dampness you sometimes find in a basement, which was not comfortable. The beds were quite hard and the pillows worn out and uncomfortable.
Breakfast contained quite good bread, some cheese, ham, juice, milk, yoghurt, cereals, tea, coffee and a few other items. Fully sufficient, although just a small breakfast buffet, which is reasonable to expect in such a small B&B. The hosts were nice and made sure that the plates were refilled when needed.
