Torsby

Camping 45 is nestled in a peaceful forested area at the base of Hovfjället. There are many great hiking and running trails nearby and it is easy to reach the peak from the camping area. The camping area is well taken care of, the facilities are very clean, and the pool is sparkling and inviting.
The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable and fun. It is like visiting old friends as soon as you arrive. We will definitely visit again!

Friendly owners and great location!

Stayed over in a cabin for one night and wish we’d booked for longer. Frank and his wife are fantastic hosts and go out of their way to make sure you are welcome and have everything you need.  

The facilities themselves are excellent, the highlight being the heated pool. We will definitely be back!

Camping 45 delivers again

We had a cabin with it's own kitchen and bathroom. The cabin was clean and everything worked fabulous. It was equipped with dishes, pots and pans, coffee pot.... all the necessary things. 
Our hosts Frank & Dorothy were kind, gracious, and made sure our stay was the best. We would recommend this place to anyone and if we are back we will surely stay there again. From Rotarian's Doug & Penny

Awesome place to stay the night or several!

We were there with a Womo and our nine-month-old daughter in our luggage. Hospitality is not only great here, but it comes first. Immediately followed by a great sustainable concept, which is felt by the two very friendly owners Frank and Doro. There are great tips around the themes of hiking, fishing, elk riding - regional pleasure and who would have expected this: the GLEISCHRIMFLIGHTS!!.

In all respects, it is very sustainable.

We were there for a week and a half in the summer with campercars to camp. We were there the years before. It's a small but perfect campsite. It has everything you need. It's run by a German couple. It's really familiar there. It's highly recommended.

The perfect campsite

We were there for a week with campers, two people and two dogs, lots of tips for activities in the area, a super relaxed atmosphere, we felt very comfortable! The street doesn't bother us at all, fast walking in the square, right in the middle of the countryside with the dogs, was a very nice time.

A very relaxed week

This was the first camping trip we took as a family (hubby, me, and our almost 2 year old).  The cabins were almost perfect!  The kitchenette was well stocked and clean, the beds were clean (but the mattresses were a bit flimsy - so, a bit uncomfortable of a sleep), and the shared bathroom facilities were extremely clean.  The grounds had a pool, a recreation room, and a whole bunch of toys and games you could borrow.  The whole resort is truly eco friendly.  They even have their own composter!!!  The best part was definitely the staff.  From the moment we entered the grounds, the staff were extremely pleasant and attentive.  There is definitely pride in ownership in this family owned camp site, and no detail is missed.  We booked ourselves for a guided hike, and boy were we in for a treat!  First off, the guide was extremely flexible in time and accommodated our schedule.  Secondly, she took us to this secret location that was straight out of a fairy tale book!  We picked an abundant amount of wild blueberries and chanterelle mushrooms.  

I come from a family of campers, and have been camping before I was able to walk.  I have to say, though, this was the best camping trip i have ever taken.  Frank's personal touch and his staff's attentiveness to detail made this an exceptional experience.  We definitely plan on visiting again!

Perfect family vacation spot!

This is a very lovingly managed campsite, the owners are very friendly and open-hearted. Diw cottages are very well maintained and the ecological aspect is to be highlighted. Here is not only recycling, but also the sustainability of electricity and water production. Even with food surplus you can find a solution here. Very good W-Lan So for any nature and camping friend just to recommend

Instead of travelling, stay for three days.

We were with Caravan in 2014 at Camping45.com, again in 08/2015 for a weekend there. We just felt comfortable & warmly welcomed during this time. The owners Frank & Doro were always ready to help / friendly & always ready to have a nice conversation.

A pleasant and friendly camping stay

When we arrived the host used some time to tell about the sightseeings in the surroundings. He was very helpfull. It is a very clean and environment friendly place. The cheapest in the area I could find and close to everything (Hovfjället, Brattfallet, Digefallet).

The cabins are small and simple in a good way.
