The hotel is managed by young students who work during the summer to earn some extra money. It's important to be aware of this, as it may lead to encountering untrained staff who might not meet the expected level of service for this kind of job.

Although we celebrated our wedding at a nearby venue and initially recommended this hotel to everyone, our experience during the stay was far from what we anticipated.

1. After the wedding party, our guests faced a frustrating situation when they got locked out of their rooms at 2 am for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The hotel experienced power issues, which affected the front gate (an automatic door) and the rooms, as they are based on an electrical mechanism. Despite trying to reach the hotel staff by phone, there was no response until the power was restored, and we are unsure of the reasons for this delay.

2. We observed that the staff seemed disinterested in helping or resolving any issues. They appeared to be wandering around without actively attending to guests' needs.

3. Our best friends requested the front desk to arrange a couple of gifts (flowers, greeting card, champagne) in our room as a wedding gift. Unfortunately, there was nothing prepared in our room, and when asked the next day, the front desk staff claimed that it was not their responsibility to assist with such requests. This raised confusion as to why they initially accepted to fulfill the request.

4. During the checkout process, several guests were asked to pay a higher price for their rooms, even though the price was supposed to be the same for all rooms booked for them. This discrepancy was puzzling and raised concerns about whether there was an attempt to scam our guests.

Despite the hotel's great location, facilities (rooms and gym really good), and good restaurant service, the overall customer experience was severely disappointing. This leaves us wondering why the hotel is run by students and whether this might be impacting the quality of service provided.

Exceptional location, bad customer service

Very nice and clean rooms, god breakfast and alot of activities. Staff is very nice and helpful. You should  try the  trailrun track  6.7km that is very challenging and end With a sauna. I would go there agan.

Really nice!

Awesome place to relax or workout. They also have special rooms for bringing your dog. Good atmosphere, nice food. I personally like my scrambled egg and bacon and they have the best.

Relaxing weekend with dog training and drone flying

Stayed here in 2017 for one night only on a tour. Stayed in month of February actually! It was very nice - picturesque with the snowfall and the interior added to the ambience. It is very stylish and staff very very friendly.

Would recommend.

Lovely place. Clean and stylish

First time we stayed in Lassalyckan and definitely not the last time - brand new hotel with great facilities, breakfast is filling and the rooms are clean and nicely decorated and the hotel is 30 meters from the start of the cross-country skiing circuit (the receptionist looked a little confused when we asked where the pistes were - in our defense it was very foggy outside!) 

It would be nice with a room to leave skis and poles overnight. Despite, being there relatively late in the season the slopes were still covered and well-prepared.

1 night’s stay at Hotell Lassalyckan during a business trip to Ulricehamn. I arrived at the hotel at 20:45, unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed, but luckily the bar was open so I was still able to get a beer.

The lady at check in was very friendly and helpful, with suggestions of where I could go for food, and that there was even a local pizza company who could deliver – beer was OK!

The hotel room was nice and clean, with a comfy bed and flatscreen TV. The bathroom was nicely decorated, with the shower both hot and powerful.
Breakfast choices were limited, but enough to get you going, with healthy options available, as well as the all important coffee.

The hotel is located near some sport facilities, and all around are what I think are mountain bike paths, clearly labelled, and great for a morning run as there’s no gym at the hotel.

Will stay here again when I’m next back on business.

Lovely location, friendly staff

I was the only guest today and came late. Still they prepared coffee and tea for me. The hotel is clean, nice area for recreation of all kinds and even I was only on a business trip, I loved it here. Ulricehamn is a small and cute town 1 hour from Göteborg and has even Skiing areas and a beautiful lake. The hotel staff was very warm and trustful to me as only guest. The rooms are small but cute and convenient. The breakfast room is big and has a nice atmosphere. The surrounding area offers lots of sport activities. Besides skiing also, soccer, swimming, golf areas. Lovely Sweden. ..............................................................!!
