Our family of 11 ( ages 9-75yrs) stayed at Swisshut for 5 days in April 2019. We found the location and weather just perfect. The chalet was clean, well furnished, warm and cosy. There are 86 steps from top of road to accomodation. 
As a large family we were given the choice to either have breakfast provided or be able to use the kitchen to store, prepare and make our meals (same price for both options. You are not allowed food  in Swisshut if breakfast option is chosen). The location is quite isolated so having use of the kitchen was necessary as restaurants charge a premium. 
We used bus 24 for our trips into town, if you miss this bus it is a decent walk up a steep hill. 
We used ‘get transfer.com’ to organise a return trip from Zurich airport to Swisshut. 
We purchased food at Zurich airport coop and Sigriswil coop. You can go online and have it delivered to the hut.
We visited Niederhorn, Jungfraujoch, Lauterbrunnen, Thun, Interlaken and enjoyed ferry rides over lake Thun. 
We purchased a Bernese Oberland Regional Swiss Rail card which covered: ferry, bus, cable and rail in the areas we wanted to travel. 
We would recommend this picturesque location to anyone wanting to immerse themselves in a non touristy destination of Switzerland. 
Prepare to take plenty of photos as every angle deserves a picture 🤗

Beautiful setting

At 5 o'clock we were visiting the chalet for a weekend. A beautiful chalet with a bombastic view. Unfortunately the weather didn't play along and we couldn't enjoy the view -> 2 days of fog:(The house is very cozy and priced and it has everything you need. We would book this chalet again right away. It's almost a shame to drive away because the house is so great and the whole ambiance seems very relaxing.

Cozy chalet

Beautiful Swiss hut, cared  in all details and very clean, warm and comfortable, warms you heart and soul to admire the snowy peaks from the panoramic window, staying to shelter and warmth of the ceramic wood stove. At night the spectacle are the lights of the villages surrounding the lake, like so many stars diving from the mountains into the waters. Narni was very kind and precise, I was able to park for free in one of the parking spots. The bathroom is shared but was really clean.

Reachable with public transport, only 15` walk from, the bus station. Charming hut, beautiful view, welcoming host and fantastic surrounding for hiking.  The bride of Sigriswil ist only 20' away. We come again, for sure. Thankyou

Great place to be

Nardi's place was just what I was looking for. A home away from home to escape to for the weekend in the stunning hills overlooking Lake Thun and the Interlaken region. 

It is a very cozy B&B with a really friendly, family feeling -- you feel like you are staying at a friend's house for the weekend. I really enjoyed sitting out on the veranda drinking my morning coffee and watching the sun rise over the snowcapped mountains. The views from Nardi's are just amazing. You can see the lake, the mountains, the green pastures, and even hear the sound of cowbells in the distance. 

The bedrooms are set up in simple chalet style, some have single beds and some have double beds. The duvets are amazing -- slept really well! The bathroom is shared, but even though we were up to 8 people at once staying there, I never felt like I had to wait to use it. 

Also, have to mention how tidy Nardi keeps the place. Incredibly clean and tidy. Oh, don't forget to bring your favorite pair of comfy slippers, as no shoes allowed in the house. There are slippers available, but I prefer my own soft and fluffy pair. ;) 

Nardi's recommendations for things to do in the area, and for restaurants, were also really great. Definitely ask his advice! 

If you are looking for a cozy little place in the mountains that is more like a home and less like a hotel -- Nardi's Swiss Hut B&B is for you!

Can't wait to return for another weekend to relax at Nardi's.

Home away from Home

Paradise! Excellent welcome from Nardi and top services: beautiful panorama of Lake Tun and surrounding mountains, absolute calm, very cozy cottage and comfortable room, nice terrace, delicious breakfast. Here you forget everything and you can only go back:)

Paradise at Lake Tun

During a two-day hike, we stayed at Nardi's SwissHut B&B. The house is beautifully situated on the slope, overlooking the mountains and the Lake Thun. The host was very warm and also convinced by the delicious breakfast with regional products. There are also plus points for the host's great hiking and excursion tips!

It's wonderful.

We had a wonderful three-day holiday. A beautiful upper country chalet with lots of charm, very clean, unique views of the Lake Tunis and the mountainous world, great breakfast! Many possibilities for excursions by car or even EV. A secret tip!!

Swisshut Sigriswil

We really enjoyed our stay at the SwissHut. Great views and a beautiful chalet with lots of charm decorated. The rooms are very nice and the beds are super comfortable. The breakfast was good, not a big selection, but everything you needed was there and you could always re-order. You would come back anytime.
