Hospitality disaster relief in a former Catholic boarding school

It's not very expensive, but it's not a good feeling factor. It's pragmatic and ready. It's crushing mattresses, clogged drains, etc.

Lack of Comfort and Love

The Yugi is housed in a schoolhouse that is still used as a school. So the parking lots in front of the house can't be used during the week. At the reception we were informed about other free parking lots that are a few minutes' walk from the hostel. The little path turned out to be a steeper staircase. With a full suitcase this is somewhat suboptimal. One of the Better has been so quiet that you didn't dare move at all. The breakfast was okay.

A Jugi Like Before

This former girls' school now houses a hostel for young people, but there are still signs of its former occupation: fathers, long hallways, it's a very nice setting! The common rooms and toilets are very clean, and the setting is ideal, right next to the wall of one of the castles of Bellinzona, near the old town. We were very well received, with care and a lot of wise advice. A very good address.

A youth hostel in an unusual setting!

A unique place for a youth hostel, a beautiful old villa at the foot of the walls of one of the castles in Bellinzone. Charming staff. The breakfast room reminds me of the dining room of my school (Catholic institute).

Super experience in a charming building

The youth hostel (especially the photos) promises more than it believes: expensive (nearly 100 euros for a DZ), 2 communal showers on the whole floor, old-fashioned equipment and refurbishment stack, the breakfast room is an aesthetic nightmare. Because we (4 youth hostel members) had booked via booking.com, we had to pay (for just one night) CHF 6 per room TV fee, although we did not explicitly book or use TV. These are hidden costs because the portal was used - very annoying.

Low performance for a lot of money

If you want to spend a lot of money and expect little, this is the place for you. The reception was rather cold and accompanied by many reminders. The Ticino ticket included for free travel on the SBB is only available on demand. The interior is the 80s of the last century. On the aisles with about 20 rooms there are only 2 showers, toilets. Unfortunately, we did not have a feeling of welcome among our guests. There was no indication of the wine festival or attractions worth seeing in the city. The breakfast is moderate and the staff is overwhelmed. We were also more often offered in Swiss youth hostels, for example in Locarno, which offered a much better service.

Greater Appearance Than Being - For Guests Without High Requirements

We stayed at this lovely hostel for 2 nights. After a short walk through beautiful street we reached at the hostel, It took about 10mins from train station. 
Friendly & helpful staff, clean rooms, bathrooms. 
Breakfast was ok. We had a pleasant stay.

Nice hostel, comfortable stay!

Unfortunately last night there was a group of teenage students and uncontrolled by their teachers who disturbed very badly until 1:30 a.m. and this is unacceptable and I already reported it to the reception.
