Unimaginable dirty hole, it's not designed to house people, horrible staff, like everything, dirty toilets, dirty, tiny rooms, you have to crawl to access beds, clean toilets, no soap, dirty spoons for what's called breakfast... and all for an exorbitant price.

Shame on you.

We had a night in the bubble and we were very excited about it. It was supposed to be a romantic gift for my partner too - unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, there can't be a one-of-a-kind experience and a romantic stay. The first thing we had to notice was that the bubble from the restaurant was wet. The floor was completely wet inside (see pictures) and we couldn't get in without shoes. It was also a romantic gift for my partner inside (see pictures, stain on the deck). Then the bubble was outside and I wish we could barely see it on the main side of the street (but the laundry was not so thick). Unfortunately, we didn't see any pictures of the restaurant and we loved the rest of it (see pictures) Unfortunately, the bubble had a higher price (see pictures) and we couldn't get into the park without a little detail (see pictures, stain on the deck).

Caution for a night in the bubble

We were misdirected by the Navi. We stood in front of the barricade at the parking lot for 2 minutes to look at the map. When we were going to turn around they asked us to pay a parking fee of CHF 8.- (!!!!) When we said that we were only standing there for 2 minutes to look at the road, they thought that was parking and insisted on the 8.- All in all, this person was very unfriendly and even became insulting! Stay away!

They're unfriendly people!

(+) Panorama Hotel Wagenkehr is located in the quiet beautiful place in Bernese Alps. It is a few kilometers away from Hopflauenen. The property is owned by a tough Swiss couple :) The owner likes Swiss wrestling schwingen and his wife used to live for 7 years in the Netherlands and speaks Dutch. The hotel has a restaurant, where you can try deer and chamois meat. Our room was simple but clean with a comfy bed. You will understand, why the hotel is called "Panorama", when you leave it in the morning... There is a amazing hiking area, if you drive towards Engstlenalp. It is located on the border between Bern, Obwalden and Nidwalden. We had a nice hike to Melchsee-Frutt. 

(-) Two days before our arrival I got a message that the hotel is overbooked and it would be nice, if we find another place to stay. I explained that it would be difficult to find a similar place for the same price. I got an answer a few hours later that the problem is solved and they have a room for us. I think, we slept in the owners' kids room. Parking costs 8CHF but it is written in the booking. Toilet and shower are outside of the room (a floor down).

Amazing landscapes around!

We stayed overnight in this property during a motorcycle trip. The owner welcomed us very kindly and also spoke a little Italian. The room is very nice, and clean, all furnished with wood. The pillows are very uncomfortable. The bathroom, although it is common, (and is the same as the owners), is very clean and equipped with every comfort. The view is very nice. The breakfast is good. The dinner is on paper, the typical dishes are very tasty. The only new, besides the pillows, are the mandatory parking fee of 4 euros. No possibility to pay with cards. No possibility of covered parking for motorcycles, and very slow wifi, however, I recommend you.

I'm going to...

We've been there twice - the first and last time. The host is very unfriendly and arrogant. We were led along this route with the Navi, paid the toll at his door to continue. 200 meters after the barrier comes a road ban sign. So back again 200 meters. Asked if we get the toll back. Very unfriendly and dismissive he explained to us that he doesn't want to do that. Should he keep the money - but there's no more.

Greedy for Money

This place is in a great location close to innertkirchen. We rented a room with 4 beds and breakfast included. Remember you need to bring cash in this place, because you cannot pay with any cards.
Very simple rooms, but everything you need just to spend the night.

Awesome location and host

A secular house, cared for by a couple who like to host. A little far from the concept of a hotel, given that it's basically a room rent. The space is very clean and dry, although it's an old building, with all those typical noises. Breakfast is fantastic! 😉

One night in the mountains...

The hotel is cozy, the staff is nice and friendly. The rooms are all made of wood and the (actual) feeling of being in a mountain hut. The view (as the name of the structure suggests) is wonderful. The bathroom is shared but for one night it is not a problem. The breakfast was excellent and abundant and the price is more than honest. In general it is highly recommended
