Stayed for one night stopover, Beautiful location, manager on duty was very helpful can't fault him or the service he gave us. Food was also good. 
We paid for a superior room with lakeside and 2 balconies, we had lake view and a balcony (1) that's fine, who needs  2! Room was spacious but no towels, no kettle, no cups, no glasses despite having a kitchen unit, nothing in the cupboards.  No headboard for the bed, and 2 single duvets,  really needs a king-size duvet and are pillows awful. Seems room's been refurbished recently but not finished. 
Not expecting the earth, just better furnishing especially for the bed. 
Having said that when we asked for more pillows, kettle etc, the manager did provide us withthemno problem, credit to him.

Beautiful location for a stopover

While the Rigiblick was once a destination hotel with a beautiful view of Lake Lucerne - it is in truth now more of a B&B with only six rooms and the remainder apparently  occupied as apartments . We stayed here for four nights in a standard room at the back of the hotel . All rooms have a kitchenette with a fridge , dishwasher and micro-wave and an ensuite shower.  We had to ask for coat hangers and a kettle - but these were willingly provided .  Francesco , the manager is a dynamo of activity and can be a little abrasive but Luigi and Mario are always cheerful and helpful with the star prize going to Margela - who orchestrates breakfast single handed  and seems to work the longest hours . Location is perfect - paddle boards available immediately outside the hotel - and a marvellous stepping off point for walks on Rigi and trips on Lake Lucerne on the 100 year old paddle steamers !

Excellent Location

We stayed here for 5 nights following a drive from Zurich. Nice parking area in the hotel grounds which is free & easy to access. However, it should be noted that the hotel does not have a reception desk & entry to the hotel is via the Restaurant where staff will confirm bookings & deliver keys. 
We were assigned room 37 on the 3rd floor with a view over the town & towards the mountains. The rooms are dated but very large & comfortable. The bathroom is much newer & has all the usual requirements. A small kitchenette area is in the room, which enables the making of tea/coffee (tho’ you will need to supply your own ‘makings’, with a fridge for storing cold stuffs.
The room has a large bed with warm duvets, a table with 4 chairs, a lounge & a wardrobe with hanging & shelf space. There is no aircon in the room & it is difficult to cool if the weather is hot. If the weather is wet, windows cannot be opened to let in fresh air, or the rain will come in. As we were located on the side of the building nearest the church & bell tower, it was difficult to sleep with windows open as the hourly, half hourly & quarter hourly bells could be heard throughout the night.
Breakfast on the terrace in the Restaurant was well provided, with O/J, eggs for boiling, various breads, jams, cheeses, ham, salami, cereals, croissants & a selection of teas & fresh brewed coffees available. This was included in the room price. 
We also visited for lunch and this too was more than adequate, despite it being a menu du jour. 
Overall, whilst this place is not a ‘main’ hotel, it is comfortable, central, with larger than average rooms & is easy to find. It has all the basic requirements & staff speak a number of languages. Would stay again.

Good position on the lake

Hotel Rigiblick am see in Buochs is excellenty positioned on the lake "vierwoudstedenmeer"
it is not a super modern hotel,but price quality and the location justify the  140€ stay including breakfast which was not directly very diversified.
Unpleasant was the knowledge afterwards that the room was already charged 14 days prior arrival.
Room under the roof was ok,though the entrancedoor towards the bathroom have too pass sidewards to enter the bathroom.
Diner was ok for 90€ for 2 persons.
Parking available on side
Overall ok to stay over one night.

Stop on our yearly trip to Piemonte in Italy

We only stayed 1 night during a road trip as a family with 2 children. Pricey as most Swiss hotels. Very good kitchen & breakfast. Friendly staff.
Only rooms are quite old fashioned. (carpet, furniture, etc)
Very nice environment for all kinds of activities: walking, playing, canoeing, sail & boat trips etc.

Oldfashioned hotel with good kitchen & breakfast

We have stayed here before when the owners were Swiss, years ago and it was called Rigiblick. Since some years apparently the hotel has a new Italian or Swiss-Italian owner. This new owner runs the hotel with only 7 rooms since most of the original rooms have been sold as holyday apartments.
This does not mean that the hotel, or for that matter, the restaurant is any less than all those years ago. Actually, we found it much more relaxed and easy going than when the Swiss owners were running it. 
Sure, cooking is for the standard tourist that is used to standard Italian boulevard cuisine, and no, you aren’t received as royalty. You must accept the loose service that you ether like or despise; we love it.  
The bar is a mess, the kitchen serves incomprehensible plates, the wine is served in a carafe and as we wanted some more, the rest came in the original bottle. Still, service is lovely. Coffee with Grappa and Vecchia as you would hope for.
We stayed in room 43 on the second floor. Clean, tidy and provided with everything you might need. The view over Lake Luzern is stunning. To our surprise, the room came with a second floor. To be honest we daren’t go up the stairs after diner since the stairway is very narrow and steep; perhaps for the bold. All the same, it was spacey and well equipped.
Only point of criticism is the breakfast room. As we well remembered, during summer it is like an oven in there. Breakfast is served on a glass covered terrace and during our stay it must have been 40 ºC in there. No surprise however, since that has always been like that. We would recommend to serve breakfast outside. Breakfast itself is better than you would expect for the amount spent.
We will certainly be visiting again.

Pre holiday party stop over at "der Italiaener"

We loved the peace, the quiet, the view, the room, the staff. All perfect. The parking is free and directly at the hotel.  

The breakfast offer was limited, but more than enough for us. We were able to communicate in German (or Italian) with the excellent staff.
