I was in this town on a business trip and stayed at this hotel a few years ago. A middle-class hotel with an old room base, two things especially struck me: thematic rooms (they put me in a one-room room, but because I didn't like it, they gave me a thematic number).

It's an unusual hotel.

Two small glasses of water are served free of charge for the meal, then the glass must be paid for, although we had an Apero, breakfast, dessert and coffee - cost point Fr. 97.--. Absolutely unacceptable.

Restaurant absolutely not recommended

For short business trips - OK. Wi-Fi is available - fast and good. However, the hotel has come a long way. It is reminiscent of the 70s. There is no minibar in the room and a small 36-pipe TV... For the price (for Switzerland normal) you get a first-class wellness hotel in DE.

For one and a half nights OK

For a wellness hotel: rooms clean but without charm and style. Bathrobe not included - and that in a wellness hotel. Restaurant very good, especially dinner. Morning buffet nice, but oversized for 22.50 p.P. Price/performance ratio is not correct.

It's not spectacular.

When we arrived for a late check-in, we were told that we were expecting more, so no whirlpool (which had been reserved for a birthday surprise for three months), the priceless room, decorated in an absolute, unprepared quitschime, dirty bathtub (yellow traces), no TV sound and a loud fan.

That's unfortunate.

I got a two-bedroom (though booked for one person) and a view of the road and the nearby cow farm (with the appropriate smell). Although the room for one person was more like a pencil. But the food is excellent. It's a little difficult with the language, it's already the German part of Switzerland, and most of the information is in German. The staff spoke in English, but sometimes it was hard to understand the questions.

Modest, cozy, cheap

The Worbenbad harks back to the 1980's with it's dated styling and the room amenities are very basic, but it's made up for with a nice restaurant and friendly service. Note this hotel is located strictly within a Swiss German region so German language skills are helpful, French and English is spoken a little but not much. 

The pool and gym facilities look excellent but I didn't use them on this occasion. 

The meeting room facilities were also very good, particularly if you're thinking of planning a larger meeting. 

I would think this a handy stop off for cycling or walking tourers but there are better options in the centre of Biel for travellers looking for more comfortable or modern facilities. 

Nice friendly service in dated hotel

Living in Geneva, I was somewhat surprised to find that the wellness part is done in small clothes, very small (but not mandatory), on the other hand disappointed by the pool (which has nothing to envy the public pool, by size), disappointed because it is accessible to visitors and their children, so if you want calm, to avoid! otherwise, proper hotel, spacious room and staff is arranging (we were able to make a late checkout at 14:00!).

Surprised!

Hotel located along the main road, free parking across the street. Comfortable but noisy room. Very medium-sized bed... The service is very friendly and pleasant. The quality kitchen. Swimming pool access included in the price of the room.

Friendly reception and quality cuisine

We stayed (2 adults and 2 kids under 3) for a weekend. The hotel is old and is more of a Swimming pool for the village and a nice restaurant than a hotel. 
It was not easy to find. In the middle of nowhere but not far form the beautiful Biel.
We had breakfast and dinner there and it was great. The morning buffet was complete, with fresh tasty bread and croissants, cheeses and other goodies. Dinner was also delicious. 
The room was correct. The service good.
