Historical building. Breakfast is good. The rooms are ok. The inside of the hotel is not too hot, no fire, but good to sleep. Center of the town. The hotel gives the passes for ski and bus tickets in Davos.

Not luxury but comfortable

You're young and you're looking for a cheap but decent place to sleep for a weekend in the mountains - snowboarding or skiing? This might be your place. I paid CHF 195 for the night from Saturday to Sunday (on a weekend everything else seemed full) including a two days ski pass which is normally worth CHF 143. So I didn't really expect much but was then surprised in two ways: First, the room on the forth floor was pretty decent with 140 cm bed (wich cannot be taken for granted in a single room in Switzerland) and second, there were no towels! Naked in front of the shower I discovered before I got wet. What I then wanted to do is what I would normally do in any other hotel: dial the number of the reception. But there is no phone in the room, so I had to get dressed again and go down. The receptionist (the reception is not always occupied!) said that was normal to have no towels. "Are you kidding me?", I replied. She snapped: "It says so in the confirmation you got." Okay, I checked later and she was right. However it is not in the email you get but only in the attachment with all the details (the one thing no one would read). Anyway, for me this is hard to understand and far from normal. I spend at least one night in hotels almost every week and not only in Switzerland but I have never experienced this before. I'd rather have no TV in my room. I think no one would complain if the room was CHF 5 more expensive (that is how much you pay to rent a towel) but this whole episode was most peculiar and leaves a bad taste.

Good bargain for the less demanding

Perfect for a ski holiday. If you don't need high class hotel, but a clean and simple place where to sleep and ski that's the place. Good offer with skipass included. The personnel was very nice and polite. Rooms big and clean. Just the breakfast a bit poor, but for me it was enough. Position is perfect: 1min walk from train station and 3min walk to ski area. 

Ski week-end

Location was perfect! 3 minutes walk to Parsennbahn station and 3 minutes walk from the finish point of downhill course from Parsenn. Hotel room was large enough and clean. However, NO towel and shampoo were equipped in the room. It was not a mistake. It was a default setting!  Breakfast buffet was poor. Frankly speaking, the hotel was over priced.

Do not forget to bring your own towel and shampoo!

The hotel is very simple, but yet has everything you need for a ski trip.
Cost is very good for Swiss standards, walking distance from the train station, Parsenn base and bus stop for all other ski areas.
OK breakfast with some good cheese. 

Not smokey hotel, since they don't allow people smoking in the hotel bar anymore.
