Sige is a wonderful host, a beautiful breakfast, very simple, and clean accommodations. You overlook the town of Visp, And the beautiful mountains. There is a bus service that takes you up to the hotel when you get off the train. Just ask for directions, everyone in town knows the hotel. We will definitely return! 

Wonderful View! On top of the world!! 

What a lovely little hotel up in the mountains.  The road up seems daunting (bit slender in places) but you must understand that the vehicles drivers you are meeting know that road like the palm of their hand and will make sure that you get through comfortably.  All part of the alpine experience.

Once there you will be greater with a smile and genuine friendship that lasts throughout your stay.  

Parking is free about 200 meters from the hotel.  No impost at all and your car will be safe.

Rooms are simple but comfortable and warm.  We were lucky enough to get a room that overlooked the expansive valley and mountain views.  Priceless.

Dinner in the restaurant is nothing short of brilliant, home cooked fare with a good selection.  Honestly, I don’t know how they manage to cater to guests meals practically all day, but they do.

Breakfast is a treat as well.  Eat as much as you like ... and there’s plenty.

The owner and most staff speak English (with a genuine Alpine smile) and will make sure that any concerns you may have, whatever they may be are swiftly addressed to your satisfaction.  Concerns are few if any.

Drink thelocal beer on tap because it is an excellent drop.  Selection of wines is good as well.

On the night we stayed we had the pleasure of being served throughout the evening by Anna.  Honestly, We’ve  never seen a harder worker and a broader smile.  Anna, you are an asset to the hotel and made us all feel so much at home.  xxxxxxx

I could write a book about the excellent experience we had there but will close now by saying ... go there, you’ll be pleased you did.


What a gem!

This is quite a basic hotel. Not really near anywhere either. Hotel owner was very good though and the room we had was very clean and comfortable with good mountain views. The food we had was ok but basic. The price for the room was ok as well. About five minutes away from the train station.

We found this hotel unexpectedly and stayed there for two nights
I would say the hospitality of this hotel is really amazing 
The room has a marvellous view
The host is warm and welcoming 
Though we didn’t know much of this place as this is our first trip in Switzerland, this hotel makes us feel like the home
I would say 5 out of 5 for this hotel 

Had a really nice stay

I was attracted by the pictures of the view from this place, but actually was the only nice thing.
The room clean and spacious but poorly furnished. There was no wardrobe in the room. The coffe machine was there, but no cups nor coffee available. 
The personnel was kind (the family owner) but did not speak any english.
The parking.was in a public street 50m from the hotel. The breakfast was very basic and not of the best quality. 
The position is nice but far from everywhere and hard to reach.
