I've stayed at The Angels Lodge during a trip through Europe.
The hotel is nicely located and is within walking distance of ski lifts.
I really appreciated the manager's approach towards the guests as he is a nice person with whom it was a pleasure to have a chat.
The room was big and clean, the bed was comfortable while the breakfast was good as well.
Overall recommended if going through Engelberg.

Nice place

Spent 2 nights there while skiing in Engelberg. The location not far away from Titlis is convenient. For those who wants to take a shuttle bus, there is one every half hour going to Titlis. Rooms are not to big, bathroom is quiet small but the staff is really nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet is ok for that kind of hotel. I can only recommend. Just one more advice for those who are sensible to the noise, ask if possible for a room not on the train side. WiFi is working perfectly.

Good 3 stars hotel

We made a last minute booking on this Engelberg lodge and weren’t disappointed. It is quite centrally nestled in this beautiful village and has great views all around. It has nice traditional Alpine lodge feeling in it. Our room had comfortable bed and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was high quality albeit little limited in selection. Only thing I was missing is an in-room kettle or a bar/cafe open late enough for an evening tea or a drink.

Small but fine family lodge close to the train station, the village centre and the Titlis Valley station. Very friendly and eloquent staff, decent and clean rooms, small sauna and hot tub. All in all, a wonderfully purposeful holiday resort. With everything you need, without a snack.

Nice structure, nice spacious rooms and well furnished. The staff are really very courteous, we arrived on the R motorcycle even though we had already found a place on the roof, the owner insisted on having it put in the garage. Very well-groomed breakfast as variety and quality.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our visit to Swiss and was very comfortable stay with good mountain views .

It is a 5 min walk from the Engelberg train station and good place to stay  if you have plans to  visit Mount Titlis.Takes 5 min to go the cable car station to visit Titlis.

It was raining during our stay so was perfect to enjoy the nature amidst the mountains.

It's a very nice hotel with a very nice staff (thank you Tine and Nadine) we were here for almost 14 days and not a single day was boring because everything is super accessible the swimming pool and sauna were great please keep doing this

First time in Switzerland

+ the location is top, in 5 minutes you'll be at the ski lift + very big praise to the staff, very friendly and trying to feel good right away! + drinks service right at the hot tub + large balcony + cozy bar with fireplace + outside the rooms the hotel is very lovingly furnished - right at the train station, the trains ringing past the hotel - the rooms are very small, remind of a youth hostel less of a hotel - all over the house it's very bright - limited time in the sauna and the hot tub - the morning is still exhaustive, that nuts are available (unfortunately not as a fruit doughnut) For a week to go skiing, but it's worth it anyway:)

I'd recommend a short trip.

Excellent hotel for a two nights stay driving back from Italy to Belgium. Nice spacious 4 bed family room in the attic, energizing breakfast, friendly staff. 
Great hiking - and the lift to Titlis is not too far from the lodge. The round trip is insanely expensive though, so we went half way and enjoyed the hike and magnificent views. 

2 nights stay 

Booked on booking.com the day before, we started with a super welcome from the owner in French, because he is from Quebec. His staff is also very smiling, helpful, always ready to give you a lot of information and help you. The bar is very friendly and the price ratio is excellent The sauna and jacuzzi on an annex terrace is more than pleasant after a day of hiking, everything is prepared (i.e. the jackets brought to your room) by the hotel staff on request who can serve you your appetizer ordered at the bar. The rooms are also very nice and all have a balcony, the bathroom is rather small but functional. Breakfast is bought with a coffee machine near Nespresso (= near the railway station) in addition to a super fast, thanks a lot!
