Enthousiastic owner, friendly staff & good food. The owner knows much about wine and serves them well. Also his specialties in meat are great. It’s a fine restaurant after a nice day in Grindelwald. Enjoy!

Wanna eat nice meat?

I spend a night there, but I will never come back, the beds and badroom were dirty, no internet connection, the kitchen service was terrible, I tried to contact the personal because the lack of service and to my surprise the personal were doing cocain in the kitchen.

A very simple hotel, very clean rooms and a really pleasant host. The location is excellent for excursions and much cheaper like the overpriced prices for hotels in Interlaken.

Very nice host

We arrived at this hotel with our motorcycles, parking facilities. The rooms are spacious and clean. Inside the hotel there are also excellent relaxation areas. Perfect is the hotel restaurant which also offers typical Swiss dishes at great prices. Good breakfast.

Gasthof

We booked for 3 people, 2 adults and 1 child, and we had a very spacious and very clean room. The bed was good and the common bathroom very clean. The view of the river and the mountains is beautiful. The road through the hotel is passing but the double glazed windows greatly mitigate the noise so it is not inconvenient to sleep. The breakfast is very good with good products at will. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant and ate very well at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly. I recommend this establishment.

What a wonderful discovery.

My husband and I wanted to take our children for a little trip, so we didn't go to the inn but we wanted to experience adventures with the children:-) Right on the main road to Grindelwald we saw a nice looking inn and went to ask for a free room. My husband and I are smokers so we have the opportunity to have a room with a balcony and sit where we could have a cup of wine and a cigarette. Looking at the nature and the beautiful mountains we were very excited because we live in the city. In the evenings our children were able to take advantage of the corners.

Stayed 3 days,hotel owner is amazing & so helpful for guests. Best location in the middle of snow mountains. We had Indian food too as chef spcly made for us.best location from Zwiluitshinen station, connecting to INTERLAKEN OST as well as Grinderwald station. These places is a must visit if you love snowy mountains and countryside.
Hotel owner was so helpful that he even dropped us with his car as we had 4 baggages and small kid.
Definitely i recommend to visit and stay here rather than staying at Interlaken which is bit exp.

Best stay in Interlaken area

Stop here for a hearty lunch after a hike or when in transit to a mountain hut.

We were happy to order the Cordon Blue for two which was prepared to order by one of the Bangladeshi brothers in management there.
