Very friendly and helpfull staff. Comftable bed, reasonable sized room and very good breakfast, good value for money.

Great location just across the raod from the station, very handy for trips around Geneva as  we could cross the road to pick a tram or bus.

Hotel Les Arcades really surprised us and was the perfect place to rest for a one night stay for my daughter and I.
Its perfect location is exactly in front of Gare Cornavin Train Station, and a short walk down to the beautiful lake and other places of interest. 
Don’t be put off by the doorway in-between shops and having other businesses on different floors, this place is a little gem and great value for money. 
Once you come out of the lift and turn right, it has such a welcoming feel. Behind the reception desk is an area with tables where you can have breakfast or grab a free hot drink and sit and chat with other guests, and just off this area is some of the rooms.
Our twin room was spacious, very clean and the bed very comfy, with lovely big windows, our view wasn’t great but I still liked to be able to let some fresh air in. There was also a mini fridge so you could grab a few bits and bobs from the supermarket to snack on and keep the costs down.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. 
Breakfast was cold meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, fruit, eggs, bread, croissants, cereal plus drinks so there was something for everyone, even my quite fussy daughter enjoyed it and it was topped up as soon as it run low.
Thank you, We really enjoyed our overnight stay and will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic Little Find!

We had a brilliant one night stay here. The hotel is in a great location, direct opposite Geneva Cornavin train station and a short walk 3/4 min walk from Lake Geneva and everything that the city center has to offer. The staff were fantastic and very friendly and the room was perfectly clean and offered everything we needed for a one night stay. 

Great location, opposite train station, for exploring Geneva

We stay here every time we visit family in Geneva. There’s absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. The rooms are simple but perfectly adequate. It’s affordable, and the employees are wonderfully friendly. It’s located directly in front of Cornavin Station. A+ in every way.

Perfect Small Unpretentious Hotel

Les Arcades really surprised me! It is exactly in front of Gare Cornavin which is an excellent location and at the same time it is quiet and perfect to rest. My room was spacious, the bed comfy and the shower was great. Everything was clean. But the most amazing detail was the staff: they were very professional and respectful. The front desk lady from my first day was especially kind and knowledgeable, I think she has a particular sense to know what people need at the right moment. My room was ready for my early check-in and she provided me with a free tee tray when I came back. It was so cold outside, the tee was a perfect idea! They also were very flexible and guarded my luggage for the whole day even after I already checked out. I had the end of my congress that day and happily, I didn't have to walk around with my bags. I really enjoyed my stay and I will be coming back.

Great location, amazing staff

This is not your traditional ‘hotel’ I guess at first it was an office that occupied the 2nd floor of an office block ( the rest of the building is offices). But don’t let that put you off it is a very functional concept. 

Perfect location opposite the train station so walking distance to most of the town attraction, Starbucks just round the corner multiple bars, takeaways and restaurants on the door step.

The room is like you would get at a Holiday Inn or Premier Inn (in the UK) clean & no frills. the shower is over a bath……. so I had my first bath in 15yrs!! It was brilliant!

We decided not to book breakfast inc price which was a mistake we thought we could get a better breakfast outside the hotel for 12f…. We were wrong Geneva is expensive and that includes breakfast options…. pay for the hotel breakfast it’s worth it.

The staff were very helpful, really great people who are a credit to the hotel. 

For the price you will not find a better hotel. We had a great 5days here

Good, well priced, unusual hotel

Plus for: Very good location, near the station, nice and clean room, staff very good and helpful.
Minus for: Noise from the trafik and the people outside which make difficult to sleep and relax.
We were there in work.


Hotel with good location

I was debating about this and another hotel close to the airport, in the end i chose Hotel Les Arcades and i’m happy with the result. It is probably easier and quicker to get here from the airport than if i had picked a hotel near the GVA airport (where we had to take a local bus or waited for a shuttle).
We stayed 1st week of October, so the lack of AC was a non factor for us, that was i think the only nega i can say about this hotel, the rest are almost close to perfect. The location and friendly staff is impeccable, the cleanliness is also top notch. Overall, this 2 star rated hotel is better than some 4 star hotels here in North America. We would stay here again next time we find ourselves in Geneva.

Cornavin Gare is just right there.

We stayed for two nights and the Location was just perfect. The hotel is right across the road from the train station and a walk down hill to the lake.  The hotel emailed our free City transport tickets the day before we travelled so the train journey from the airport was free and only took 7 minutes. The staff were so friendly. There is no air con but there was a big fan provided. The cleaniness of the hotel was of high standard. I would highly recommend for a city break.

Location Location Location

Perfect location for our 1 night, directly opposite the station (7 mins from the airport by train). The entrance is just like an.office door though & can easily be missed! Access to trams & buses on your doorstep to all major attractions and a 10 minute walk downhill to the Lake. It was clean & comfortable and the staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was cheap but not great. Loads of cafes & restaurants within walking distance. Good value for money & perfect for a flying visit.
