Comfortable hotel in a beautiful spot.  Great food and truly kind and friendly people ready to serve.  Beautiful terrace overlooking the lakes and mountains.  Attended a very informative wine tasting right on-site at no extra cost.  Rooms of all types available.

Relax and enjoy - many beautiful day tours possible.

First and foremost, our children love this place. We've visited a few times, and they always find something to do. 

The place has different types of rooms, so the experience may differ substantially depending on were you're staying. 
 
The estate is large, produces their own wine, and has lots of room for children to play outdoors. When it rains, options are rather limited, but there is a place with many board games etc. 

Our room was nice, quite sober. The room was made fairly well in the mornings, not really as well as expectable when relating to the price. The majority of the staff was always very friendly and helpful. 

We were clearly visiting at the end of the season, many things were overly used, there was a sense of tiredness in service and equipment, many places need some do over, a haze of shabbiness here and there. 

All in all recommended if you have the budget, the weather is nice and you are not overly picky over price/quality ratio.

A nice place to go for families with children - if the weather is nice

Lots of children friendly activities, helpful staff, good food. Only thing missing was a kettle in the bedroom which is something I depend on having when preparing baby bottles but the self service cafeteria made up for it.

Great for families

I stayed at this hotel on a weekend for two nights at it was the «recommended» location for a wedding I attended and part of the wedding celebrations also took place there. 

Pro: 

This hotel is beautifully located in the hills topping the lake of Lugano offering an amazing view. Furthermore the hotel is part of a a wine yard (offering their own wine) and offers a large outdoor area with lots of entertainment such as a pool area with water slides, volleyball, a trampoline, pool tables, donkeys  and more. Surely a nice place to relax. 

Hotel staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Also the breakfast buffet offered a rich choice of healthy and local products. 

Con:

Although clean at first our room didn't get cleaned the second day and bathroom products didn't get replaced (no new towels, tiny shower gel ran out after one day).

The room itself was pretty basic and not really my taste of style (matter of opinion of course). I am not a fan of ACs but in a region where temp. tends to regularly top 30 degrees during summer an AC or a least a fan in the room would be a plus. 

There is a self-service bar where you may take anything (incl. alcohol) at any time. It's based on trust with the assumption that you jot down what you drank. Although I like the system the prices were similar to those you'd pay in a city restaurant with the small difference that you'd be served at a table there and wouldn't have to that yourself. 

Furthermore the hotel seems to have a religious touch with christian references all over the place... I leave it up to you, whether that's your thing. 

Conclusion. 
An average hotel at a beautiful location with some unique features but largely overpriced for the essential core features and probably aimed at another clientele than myself.

An amazing place but...

E booked and paid to spend a night in this hotel. The problem was when I arrived at the hotel and nobody was there even though I told them what time it was going to arrive. That's why I had to spend the night in my car with my daughter and my wife since the other hotels were full (at that time I could only think of that idea). All I want is for my money to be returned because I feel scammed by the lack of information and by hanging the phone more than once Of the six calls I made twice they answered me and they said hello and they hung up on me, without even giving me time to say anything. From the third call they turned off the mobil.Intentado to contact them by Whatsapp, by messages, by calls and by E-Mail but they did not answer me and to this day I still do not answer.
