We stayed in this boarding house one night after attending the Greenfield Festival.

Essential dependency for visiting with friends

Good room, all made of wood (triple). Good breakfast. Vistas to the Mittelhorn with its vertical walls. We were expecting a cutting site (for the photos) and it was a pleasant surprise. The free Wifi works well. El señor de la casa, very kind, although only speaks German (we understood rather by monosyllabic and sign) is a place to repeat. The price (150 chf for a triple) to be Switzerland is very good (it is a country where everything is worth twice as much as in Spain).

Good value for money with stunning views.

We stayed here while hiking through town on the Via Alpina. Our room on the top floor was very clean and nice, though small. We had our own large bathroom and the beds were very comfortable. The owner only speaks German and we only spoke English, but it went fine and he was very nice. The breakfast was excellent with cheeses, breads, butter, jams, meats and Muesli. We were the only guests when we traveled in early September.

Great breakfast!

If you have a car is a great place to stay. It was cheap and we stayed in the "apartment", a big place for 6 persons. The only problem is that the man only speaks german. In the morning we enjoyed the traditional breakfast from Switzerland with different cheese, eggs, different ham, fruit, etc.

Great relation price-value

We rented an appartment they have. It has 3 bedrooms living room, big kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We didn't use the whole appartment, so we had a discount on after cleaning. It was a very good value. 70sq meter appartment cost the same as 14sq meter #. Hasilberg is in the Alps. It's very small but views are fantastic and it's very peacful there. The only difficulty was internet. We knew that there was no internet so decided that we can just rest from it. It's a twenty minute drive to Meiringen where are the famouse Reichenbach falls. Also we had a fantastic experience with the restaurant in Hasilberg just near the pension. I don't remember its name, but all you have to do to get there is to cross the river bridge. The chef there is a french. He makes food just beyond imagination. Strongly recomend meat fondu.
