We had a very nice stay in this hotel. Very beautiful area for hikking. the hotel offers good service and tasty dishes.
 The staff is friendly. We had a good experience. The Breakfast is also very good. 

A Nice hotel with good services

We stayed here as a family of four for a week’s skiing in early April. The hotel is a lovely Swiss style small hotel with a very popular restaurant and magical views. The room we had was very good, but I wouldn’t describe it as luxurious.  Comfortable and functional and well decorated.  The restaurant was excellent and served delicious food; we had the half board package which provided a limited choice in the evening, but the food was so good and a few deviations from the menu were happily provided. The staff were all very friendly and professional and made us feel very welcome.  The ski room is worthy of a mention because it was such a pleasant and practical  space to make use of and the herbal tea was a welcome gesture. We would love to come back another time.

Utterly charming

Travelled with a 9 month old and a 5 year old. Stayed 5 nights in this lovely hotel. We are very lucky to find this minutes before we set off. Location is great, next to T bar, bus stop and there is private parking right outside the hotel.

The restaurant has an amazing view. It is where breakfast is so we woke up everyday looking forward to the breakfast where we spent 2 hours there. Food was of great quality. 

Room is cozy and with a balcony. Staff is friendly and helpful. 

The host is great, friendly and helpful. No problem with check in or check out. Lunch and dinner was also very good and not overpriced. Way better that the pizzeria nearby. The fondue we had was amazing and beer was very rightly priced in that location with that view and service.

Booked at last minute for stopover between Stresa and Geneva. What a pleasant surprise. Fabulous views, friendly and helpful staff, great food and drink and a lovely sun terrace. Even the cows with their bells came past twice! Comfortable room.

Fantastic place!

I booked a room for myself and my daughter (adult + child) but the hotel charged us for a double occupancy of two adults. Furthermore, the room was not in the main building, but in an unpleasant annex, 5 minutes away by car! The window of our room was facing a muddy bank, and not at all the beautiful view of the mountains shown on the website. We were not informed before our arrival, and no apologies were given. We had friends staying in the main building and could not see them in the evening. What an inconvenience. More respect for customers would have been appreciated. The manager is clearly not up to the expectations and the beautiful view from the main building.

Ask clearly where your room is located!

We stayed in a chalet tucked away in the woods arranged by the Hotel Cambuse. It was a fairytale location with an amazing chalet all to ourselves. The views were spectacular and the hotel is right next to two draglifts which take you up onto gentle slopes.Our stay was very brief, but we loved it. The staff were helpful and the food was great. There is a liftpass office right next to the hotel and slopes so you can get on the slopes straight away. A perfect ski-in, ski-out location. A great place to stay.

Great location and lovely views

When we booked to walk the Tour de Val d'Herens, we knew that accommodation would vary from a mountain hut to slightly more luxurious hotels but this first night stop exceeded expectations. Lovely welcome, plenty of advice about the walk and a wonderful dinner (with amazing views) to set us off.  The room as lovely - full of character without being twee - and it was great to have a balcony too.

A great first night's accommodation and meal at the start of the Tour de Val d'Herens

Stayed with a group of skiing friends mid March.  The hotel is small, welcoming, beautifully furnished and has the most amazing view from the dining room / bar area.  And I mean amazing!  The food was fabulous, the waiting staff very friendly and competent especially Hannah, a real credit to the establishment.  Jerry, the owner was extremely pleasant and very helpful, going out of his way and beyond to assist with everything and anything.  The rooms were very warm, comfortable and mine had the most fantastic view overlooking the terrace where many people came from outside to eat and drink.  The nearest lift is a few steps away!  Only drawback for some maybe that there is not much around the hotel (although you can walk 10 mins down hill to the small village where there is a supermarket and a couple of bar / restaurants.  This didn't bother me as I only left the hotel to ski (all day as we had great weather) and had no desire to go elsewhere.  Thank you all very much for a lovely stay and I hope to return as soon as possible.

AMAZING!

We booked last minutes a family room for 2 nights (2 small kids) we had friends in Nendaz that we wanted to join for the weekend and that was the only place that had a room available in the area. I have to say we loved that place ! everything was perfect, the room was big and spotless with 2 floors, breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice, fruits, delicious bread and croissants, etc.. Plenty of parking space arountd, right next to the slopes. But the best is definitely the Staff ! :-) the Blond Lady at reception and in the Restaurant was amazingly friendly. We really felt at home. Unfortunately we did not get the chance to try the Restaurent as it was fully booked.
I can only recommend that place - this is beautiful. I hope to be back some time.

Great place, great people !

We stayed here for the first night of our hiking tour of Val D'Herens and were not disappointed.  Our room was comfortable and tidy and the restaurant food was divine (not to mention the lovely view from our table)  I am very grateful to the staff who answered all of our questions about the walking tour.  The picnic lunch was plentiful and delicious (salmon sandwiches, fruit, chocolate etc.)  A great introduction to Val D'Herens!
