The view is stunning. The rooms are clean and comfortable with beautiful mountain views. The staff is very friendly. An unforgettable night. I will definitely come back.

Unforgettable

We were conscious of the fact that we had decided to spend one night on the male roof. The mountain court was a long time familiar to us from day walks. At the time, the accessibility was limited as the cable car is being renovated in 2019 and there is a bus service. The location overlooking the Eiger, Monk, Virgin and Tsuggen is unique. In addition, the view of the game with Wetterhorn and Screckhorn is always an experience. We left the car in the parking lot in the village and ran to the bottom of the train. Since the weather on the arrival day was bad, we drove up to the highway and ran in the rain without having a real view to the male side. Alternatively, we could take a few minutes off the ground.

A night with a wonderful view of Eiger, Monk and Virgin

We stopped here for lunch after a morning on the slopes with toboggans. Good bite to eat - spaghetti and bratwurst plus beer. Decided to eat outside although it became a little windy and cold. It’s a buffet style restaurant convenient to the gondola. 

Lunch

We stayed for two days in June 2017 at the mountain house. We had a room facing south with a great view. The size was very nice, and the bed hardness was OK. So it fit. The restaurant with dinner and breakfast is also very good, especially here is the mountain brunch on Sunday morning. There is a very good selection for the price. Overall, the price ratio is very good and all the staff offer a great service that we don't often appreciate. Thank you again to all!

It's a very nice mountain weekend.

We didn't stay at the hotel but we tried the restaurant after climbing to the summit of Männlichen. The staff were polite and friendly and the portions were we're huge! Beer was a very good price too a must visit when up the mountain.

Nice restaurant 

We stayed at Berghaus Mannlichen in late August. The place is idyllic, with fabulous views of all the mountains of the region, especially the Eiger, Wetterhorn, Mönch, Jungfrau, and the valleys of Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. You can reach the hotel via the cable car from Grindelwald or Wengen. The rooms are comfortable, views incredible. The hotel restaurant is excellent, dinner was great. They also have option of a barbecue buffet. But what pleased us was the attention of the staff, which was quite appreciable. When morning came, the day was beautiful, and we prefer to walk to the Kleine Scheidegg (01:00 walk) and then to Wengen (01:30 walk). Wengen, we returned to the hotel 11:00 am, but we missed the breakfast. However, the hotel staff noticed our absence, and offered us drinks and food. So, the hotel is perfect for those who appreciate the best views of Switzerland, with great food and a very friendly staff.

Perfect location, great food and staff!

The accommodation is very easily accessible by two different routes. Either from the Grindelwald Ground or from the Wengen. The rooms are functionally furnished, clean and quiet. The service was super and warm. Wishes are fulfilled whenever possible. The area is great for walking. In the evening there is A la Carte, in the morning a delicious breakfast. The view from the room is priceless in good weather. And a big plus is that four-legged people are welcome.

Dreamy Prospects

I stayed at this hotel at the end of September with a first snow spray. The walkway from Lauterbrunnen passing through Wengen and Kleine Scheidegg is the right prelude to taste the comfort of the hotel. Walking in the shade of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau starting from the location that inspired Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's Song of Spirits Over the Water and in the footsteps of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, whose memory is traceable throughout the past.

That's a great view.

Perfectly situated on the Männlichen mountain this berghaus is ideal for a short hiking vacation. To reach it you can go by cable /lift from Wengen or Grinderwald, or you canb of course use you legs and hike, like we did. It is like 2 1/2 hous from Wengen depending on how fast you want to go.
The views are stunning and the hiking area is just outside the door. The rooms are big and pretty simple, but what do you ned up here? It is clean, good beds, a big and nice bathroom, in my room at least. Food is OK and plenty. Not exactly so much to chose from, but definitely enough.
Then it is not exactly cheap, but you are high up in the mountains, so everything costs more. 
Extra plus was the very good wifi, which was included.
I certainly want to go back here.

It had it all

Lovely cafe.  Good prices, pod food with decent portions and prices.  Kids nuggets and chips for children for 7.5 francs. Good loos too. Lovely staff some of whom speak English.  Definite worth a stop whilst you.are up there.
