We have been there as a group of 6 people and had a good time. You can enjoy the view from above, breakfast is always with fresh bread and the rooms are cute, each one is different. From Locarno you reach that place with the bus Nr.3 or by cable-care in direction to Madonna del Sasso and a little ealk down the road. You have to reserve the rooms as she only has 10 rooms to rent. Calling to check the availability is preferred

Relaxation over Locarno

We stayed one night in this boarding house. To get there you have to take a bus that passes every 30 minutes of the day, but alas every hour in the evening. The room is nice even if it's a little cold (the heating wasn't on and it wasn't very hot). The very simple service, after check-in we went to the lady for breakfast and check-out. She didn't give us directions for wifi (there were in the room, but the boarding house network wasn't coming, so useless) or suggestions on the spot.

Breathtaking view, average reception

I spent 2 nights in this guest house.The very small room with a sink.It is an old building renovated into a guest house.It is not soundproofed.The toilet and the common shower are not at all convenient because not on the same floor to take a shower.The lunch limit because the grower and bread are not fresh heated the day before,cafe bof bof bof.The garden not maintained alone the view is not bad.If this guest house is well rated, I think a little renovation and cleaning would be good.The person does not speak French at all. (No effort on his side) It is not a place where one can stay for days.Good for one night and for the disappointed!!!!

Perfect time off

Two nights, a beautiful, homey room. An incredibly loving terrace. A breakfast buffet always fresh. You can always order a little more. Loving care, for years at the same level! Absolutely excellent! A living room refrigerator with excellent wine. Only the view and the terrace are worth the trip! An absolute secret tip! We've already booked again

We had a double room with bathroom, very clean, big bathroom with everything you need, bed with a good mattress slept very well, breakfast with fresh produce very tasty.

The Olanda Pension convinced us immediately upon arrival by its optimal location and beautiful views of Lake Maggiore. We were immediately greeted with a friendly welcome by Andrea, who took care of the well-being of the guests with enthusiasm. The rooms were clean, clean and perfectly adequate for the stay. We stayed overnight in a double room with an integrated bathroom/WC. Since all the rooms have sea views, you wake up in the morning directly with a beautiful view of the blue lake. The buffet is very rich and has a lot of choice. On the terrace you can enjoy comfortable views of Lake Ticino and Locnoise as well as Ascona.

A very lovingly run boarding house with great attention to detail. The view from the rooms or the breakfast terrace is brilliant. The breakfast itself is hardly in order. On the day of our departure, a Porsche, a Ferrari and a Maserati stood in front of the boarding house. This clearly shows that the loft shower and loft for the great boarding house is very much appreciated.

You don't pay for the hotel, you pay for the view and attention: a shared bathroom!!!

A good price-performance ratio. The funicolare (near the railway station) leads directly up the mountain. It is about 10 minutes' walk from the station. It is very familiar and you feel welcome directly. There is a restaurant in the immediate vicinity. Recommended for solo travelers.

It's a nice place to switch off, fast in the middle of the action and ideal for solo travelers.
