Thanks for a great stay. The building is on a quiet street. it takes about 4 minutes to get to the lake. The Bus stop to Bellinzona/Locarno is only 50m away and the stop to get to the Verzasca valley is only 500m away and easily reachable. 
We had Studio 33 on the top floor, which had a double bed in the living room and a single bed in a separate room next to the entrance. The host was excellent. 
Regrettably, holiday apartments do not include the Ticino Ticket that gives access to regional public transport.

Great location excellent heated pool

We spent three wonderful days at "Paradiso di Vacanza" over Pentecost. The apartment (No. 18) was simple, but furnished with everything you need. A bedroom with three beds (two next to each other, one across), a bathroom with shower, a small living area with open kitchen and a huge balcony with a view of the pool as well as Lake Maggiore and Monte Gambarogno and Tamaro. The pool and the surrounding area are large and well maintained, inviting you to linger all day. As some visitors have already described, there are a lot of attractions in the near and far surroundings (Lake Minusio, Locarno, Maggia Valley, Verzasca Valley). The hosts are extremely friendly and very accommodating. We would love to come back. Thank you again for the palms and plants, they will be given a special place at our home.

Wonderful extended weekend at Paradiso di Vacanza

We spent a week in Minusio. The stay was perfect. The location is just fantastic and very quiet. The houses are comfortable and leave no wish open. The premises were a little paradise for us with the pool. We also used the ping-pong table. The hosts are very friendly and help with every little problem. We will definitely be back in Paradiso di Vacanze! Thank you very much for everything!

It's a lovely relaxing holiday.

Great accommodation, good location, warm pool, nice and clean houses. The whole family has enjoyed it very much. Fine ice at the bottom of the lake, table tennis table, plenty of lawn, parking space, what more do you want?

Quiet and well-maintained complex with 5 single-family homes and two apartment units. Beautiful garden complex with large pool, ping-pong table and small playground. Lake within five minutes walking distance. Shopping facilities nearby, partly by car. 20 minutes walking to Locarno, bus stop near the house. Excursion facilities are many. House in good condition, very clean and well equipped. Own small garden with bunk beds, bunk beds also by the pool. Friendly accommodation, tips for hiking and help with questions. Free house view. Restaurant within walking distance and also accessible. It is worthwhile to enjoy jogging or relaxing by car.

Beautiful and quiet settlement for all ages

Our holidays were a dream: fantastic weather, a wonderful view from the quiet house and the wonderful lake at the Lido, within five minutes' walk, so we didn't even need the pool, because here at the lake you can swim without any hassle and crowd noise, and a gelateria car is not far away.

A Real Paradise

Ideal for families: - Child bed / child seat provided free of charge (clean) - Everywhere fences where danger would threaten in the garden - Plenty of lawn seating to play / palm trees for the afternoon shade, and plenty of sun umbrellas including couchers - All bungalows are energetically refurbished (cool when closed during the day and open at night) - walking in a wonderful environment (promenade Lago Maggiore) as well as shopping on foot...simple what you need with young children / families.

After being regular guests at the Paradiso di Vacanze 30 years ago, when we were still children, we returned this summer with our own children. We were allowed to spend a wonderful week at Casa Gardenia. The Paganetti family was very helpful and friendly, even the former patron personally welcomed us. The well-maintained garden with pool invites us to stay. The recently renovated eco-houses are ideal for families and offer pleasant privacy. The interior is still partly the same as it was 30 years ago, which has made our nostalgia even more demanding! Many thanks, dear Paganetti family, for the unforgettable beautiful holidays.

A week full of nostalgia

My girlfriend and I have just returned from the most relaxing, easy going and chilled holiday we've ever had. Apartment No.33 at Serge's Paradiso di Vacanze has amazing views over the north end of lake Maggiore and the mountains surrounding it too. It's worth the money alone just for the view. The swimming pool, garden and surroundings were very well set out and maintained, and the local Co-op is very close by, just a 5 minute walk left out of the front of the property down Via Rinaldo Simen. The promenade walk into Locarno is a must - indeed you'll need to be reasonably comfortable with walking as it's fairly hilly getting up to the apartment. There are various trattorias and restaurants close by - and this is where it gets tricky, because everywhere is eye-wateringly expensive for eating out. I'd advise being a bit frugal and eating in some nights - after all, you've already paid for the view at the apartment! Treat going out as just that - a treat! My only negative would be that the room furniture, fixtures and fittings could do with renewing. Perhaps a trip to Ikea. A great, great place to stay - thanks to Serge and his lovely wife.

The most chilled out, relaxing holiday - ever!

The hosts are very accommodating and friendly.  They offer many different types of lodging and all are neat and clean and have their own parking space, although a car is not an absolute necessity.  Information regarding a multitude of local activities are readily available in portfolios placed in the apartments and at the reception area.  The hosts are extremely knowledgeable and forthcoming regarding same.  The kitchens are more than adequate and there are several great grocery stores nearby.
