Good place for a stop before or after the Gothard , very clean, nice and plentiful food. 
Swiss prices though, so not cheap, room a bit spartan, but as it was just a stop on the road it mattered little. 1 power outlet is not a lot though nowadays.

We booked this hotel as a stop over on our way to Italy, because of the closeness to 
the Gotthard tunnel. We thought we could leave early Saturday morning and not be stuck in a traffic jam. Little did we know the traffic jams were all before the village of Wassen (10km).
We arrived hungry and tired at 1700 and only found 2 hotel restaurants open. All with mostly pork on the menu. We finally decided to eat in our Alte Post hotel. Since we don’t eat pork it was difficult to find anything to our liking. We ordered a salad, some pasta, one kid’s menu and a bottle of water and were surprised to see a bill of €58.
Just accross the hotel there is a small supermarket.
Breakfast was nice, rooms were clean but small and a bit stuffy.

Fine...for one night

We spent a night there, during our travel to Stuttgart. It is a very nice and peaceful place.
They were very kind, the room was beautiful and the dinner we had at the hotel restaurant was very very good!

Very nice place

Right on the crossroad to Sustenpass. Very beautifull scenery. Private closed parking for motorcycles at no extra charge. Also very close to the highway, and only five minutes of driving from Andermatt.

The best place for bikers

The hotel is pretty okay located but the service is unfriendly even bit arrogant. Arrived with my daughter, she was in well, natural needs. It was dark, cold and late, the place was almost empty  but the personal insisted we need to pay for toilet; even for small kids? - really??? On top of that, we had been treated bad and did not feel welcome - you might forgot that anyone step in can be a customer.
You have lost something that day - stick with your unfriendliness; good luck but not with me!
