What a find! It does not get any better than staying in a charming, historic (1880) renovated Swiss chalet in a breathtaking location while researching family history in the area. The cozy, comfortable, clean Edelweiss room has robes and mountain views out two corner windows and a balcony. An updated bathroom is adjacent to the room.

Breakfasts are excellent with home made bread and jams, local yogurts, cheeses, boiled eggs, cereals, juice and fresh fruit. With advance request Evelyn also serves gluten free bread and muesli. A couple of mornings we ate breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view of Les Diablerets

Evelyne, fluent in English, is the perfect host with plenty of suggestions for places to go and things to do. She helped with transportation and a delicious dinner by the fire when our rental car broke down.

Welcoming and Charming

This is a place we really don’t want to write a review about, ‘cause we want to keep it for ourselves. The authentic Chalet is beautifully situated right between Montreux and Gstaad (both only 30 minutes by car) and has a breathtaking view over the Diablerets mountains. There are restaurants in walking distance.
The chalet is very cosy and is run by Evelyne, who is a wonderful host. She”ll help you plan your daytrips and serves a lovely fresh breakfast. We will definitely be back!

A wonderful stay!

Evelyne is a lovely hostess, and has done a beautiful job updating her chalet with all of the modern conveniences, together with the charm of a traditional Swiss alpine chalet. 5 minutes from the village and téléphérique on Les Diablerets, you will be cozy and warm in her B&B, well looked after with meals, restaurant recommendations, and any contacts you might need for ski instructors, etc. We will definitely be back again soon. 

Charming, authentic Swiss chalet for your ski holiday

Evelyne's chalet is incredibly comfortable and her hospitality makes you feel like a welcome guest in her beautiful home. Lovely warm fire, delicious raclette, good conversation, amazing views and walking trails starting right out the front door - what more could you want from accommodation in the mountains?!

A hidden gem

A warm reception and a cozy bed. It is such a relaxing and welcoming place that you might decide to stay on the sofa with a book and a cup of tea instead going outside to ski.
If you do go outside then the alpine and nordic ski runs are just 5 minutes away. 

Wonderful

The owner of this chalet pays attention to her guests and to the details of their stay, be it if they have special allegies or wishes for breakfast or a raclette upon arrival. Clean, simple, lovely chalet, but with enough toys to last the kids a lifetime and enough style that you can take a lovely quiet bath with a glass of champagne.

Like home but touched by luxury

Thank you again Evelyne for the wonderful weekend that we got a chance to spend at your chalet! You drive your business to perfection and it was very clear to us that you give it your utmost effort. The place is impeccable and so is your service and welcome. And thank you for inviting us to the musical festival  - une cerise sur le gâteau! We can't wait to come back.

Wonderful human and holiday experience

A beautiful and tastefully modernised Swiss chalet, a perfect retreat in the mountains just outside of the ski resort of Les Diablerets. Nestled on the side of the valley, the views are superb and the chalet is the perfect retreat after a great day in the mountains.  Warm and cosy, with all the amenities of home, you can relax with a hot drink, read a book, surf the web or watch TV in the communal living room.

We had an extremely warm welcome from Evelyne and she was a fantastic hostess, right down to the small details (boys' boots put on the radiator to dry, booking a restaurant for us). The boys had a great time singing to her after breakfast!

If you want the warmest of Swiss welcomes and to wake up in an idyllic location to a simply magnificent breakfast then this is for you.

A superb mountain hideaway!

Thank you Evelyne for this wonderful stay in your superb and quaint B&B. It has been a real pleasure from the first contact where we had a lot of requests to the last goodbye a few weeks later.
We enjoyed the warm welcome in this quiet place, the first raclette taken with a few other hosts, the crackling fire in the fireplace. And what to say about the breakfast, delicious and abundant, with you around always to help us out in case we needed anything.

Thank you for your flexibility, thank you for driving some of us from the station to your place and from your place to the ski station, you're one of the lkindest person I've met.
