We stayed here for a 1 night stopover while we travelled from Zurich to Milan on the Bernina Express. 
The hotel collected us at the train station and dropped us back again the next afternoon.

We arrived at 1pm and were able to store our luggage until our room was ready.

The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful during our stay, recommending a lovely walk while the children had ski lessons and places to eat.

We had a junior suite which was very comfortable and had a view on the slopes behind the hotel.
Breakfast was a self service Buffet, there was a good selection of cereal, bread and hot food which was  delicious and staff again friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely 24 hours in Pontresina and the children got a chance to ski, sled and play in the snow.

Lovely stay

This hotel has such big rooms, all with balcony, very friendly staff, near the bus stop, has a big ski room. In the middle of Pontresina next to the ski shop! We love it and we'll be back.the Thai Restaurant has extremely tasty  dishes!

Feelgood

Comfortable one-night stay in an alpine style modern room. Limited view as in a lower-level room. A quiet and peaceful vibe but I am sure it is a hive of activity in the winter months. One of the coldest spots on our September-October trip.

Wonderful 3-star

We booked a suite at this hotel. Marvelous suite. Worth the money. We had a fabulous stay. Pontresina is a small town and this is undoubtedly the best hotel. They provide free pickup & drop to Pontresina station. The breakfast was huge. Lastly, the hotel staff were very nice.

AWESOME STAY

This hotel's strongest points are its situation and its covered garage (book it when you reserve). The rooms are comfortable but not luxurious. If you are on the front you may get a view of the Val Roseg.

Very conveniently siutated with own garage

Schweizerhof was our endstation and reward after four days trekking in Bergell/Engadin: Soglio, Maloja, Surlej, Coazhütte and Pontresina. We really enjoyed the fine rooms, the friendly and at the same time sporty atmosphere. Restaurants were of good quality.

Nice hotel - view to Bernina

While this hotel is a bit of an uphill walk from the train station it was worth the effort.  We had a large comfortable room with a seating area like a restaurant banquet.  Our only problem was the temperature, they could not seem to turn the heat down enough so that the room was rather warm at night unless we kept the door to the balcony open.  The breakfast was extensive, but one morning the eggs were cold, they could not seem to get the burner under the steam pan to work.  Otherwise there was a good variety of breakfast choices available.  The restaurant associated with the hotel is also quite goo with a large variety of dishes available, including several asian dishes, which is unusual.

Good hotel in Pontresina

Pontresina is approximately 8 kilometers from St. Moritz. The location of the hotel is good, the front desk lady was very helpful, pleasant and friendly.  The room was a good size, with a lot of wood, you feel that you are in a chalet.  The view was overlooking the mountain with snow on the top.  The staff in the restaurant for breakfast was not very friendly, we had dinner in the restaurant the second night, which was OK but not more, This was the most disappointing part of our stay.  You can park inside or outside at a cost.

Trip to St. Moritz

Having just had an awful hotel in Interlake we were thrilled to walk into this one! The staff were courteous, helpful & friendly & the rooms beautifully decorated and modern. Our room was huge with a separate shower room & separate toilet. We had a curved window seat with a great view of the mountains, & our bed was enormous & comfortable. There is also some limited basement parking. 

Having never traveled in Switzerland we hadn't realised it closes between seasons & on Mondays, so on arrival had nowhere to eat. The hotel was busy with two coach parties and our group of ten but they accommodated us with an early meal...sadly the bar wasn't open after the meal but the waiter helped us out & we bought enough beer for the evening & made our own bar area! The food that night wasn't great & we, stupidly, didn't eat in the other restaurant because of that. I now realize we would have had a good meal there had we tried it. Breakfast was plentiful with the usual continental food. Disappointingly the hot eggs, bacon etc was cold on our second morning there.

The hotel is a 15 minute walk downhill to the train station but I believe there is also a bus. As we were staying there two nights we also received a travel card to ride the Bernina Express train into & out of St Moritz (don't bother in May!) & to a certain point south on the line, after that you must pay.

Excellent hotel...would definitely return.

Lovely hotel, great location, friendly staff.

Nice Hotel which feels it has been there for many years. Of course the location in Pontresina is fantastic and it is right in the center. The staff at the reception is nice, the rooms are average in size. The furnishings and bathrooms are from the 70s. It does feel like it needs a renovation as here and there you fins it is old (mold in the corners of the showers, shower head that does not stay straight up, etc.). The breakfast room would be really nice, however the one waiter is quite grumpy and they seem to struggle to keep the food available in sufficient quantity, even when there is not such a tremendous choice. Overall it was quite ok but when returning would probably try another one.
