We had a wonderful night at Villa Flor in OberEngadin. The stay was warm and very restful. Our room was very bright, bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was with modern facility. Surprisingly the room was very quiet, even it is a historical building, and there were guests with children.  Breakfast was with fresh fruits and homemade jam. The Espresso and Cappuccino were the culinary Italian highlight. I will recommend Villa Flor to dear friends. 

Our host Ladina was most welcoming and helpful to advise on our one night stay with short easy walks and Restaurant to recommend. Being only 5 minutes walk from train station was a plus. 

Friday soul recovery in Engadin

With my family I stayed there for several times. We enjoyed the hospitality of Ladina Florinet, the atmosphere of this unique place. Every room is a peace of art. We also enjoyed the different Art exhibitions. It is a meeting point of gallerists, artists and collectors.

A very special place to stay

Villa Flor is absolutely amazing and everything is perfect! Ladina is a great host: friendly and discreet. She has a fantastic taste and eye for details: every room is a surprise. Also the breakfast is an experience that makes you feel at home. My favourite place in engadin!!

All is simply perfect!

Villa Flor is probably one of my favorite places to go in the Swiss Alps. The house is hung with the personal art collection of the owner Ladina and sometimes there is a show of a featured artist that takes over all the walls. This makes the hotel a wonderful place to hang out it after ski or walking in the mountains. The  delightfully creative interiors gives the house its unique charm but the best part is the loving attention to detail, nice linens, comfy beds, a great breakfast which featured artisinal cheeses and local breads as well freshly squeezed orange juice and berries with yogurt. We are coming back next year with our kids.

My husband and I stayed at Villa Flor a few weeks ago, and recommend it very highly.  The owner, Ladina Flor, was wonderfully gracious and helpful. She not only fed us the most exquisite breakfast, but sent us out with a bag lunch, and welcomed us back at the end of the day with tea and cake.  Ladina helped us figure out where we would hike each day, gave us maps, arranged for bike rental, explained the train system and so on.  She just went all out.  The inn, itself, is beautiful, artful, airy, has great views out the windows. It is situated next to a National Park and a five minute walk from the train station. The tiny town of S-chanf is very close to St. Moritz, so you can have the "big city" and the peaceful country at the same time.  We recommend it without reservation and would go back in a heartbeat.
