We wanted to book in Saas-Fee but everything was already taken in what we were looking for in this August. For once Booking.com recommended booking in Saas-Grund, less than 10 km from Saas-Fee. In this small alpine resort, it is possible to get to his hotel by car, to find parking anywhere, not to mention a beautiful cable car excursion to Hohsaas (3098 m). The Holiday Touring Hotel has only a few rooms (maybe 5 or 6?), a modest but common place to prepare your meals in the kitchen. This is not a small terrace, but it is also a good place to eat. The kitchen is not too expensive for those who are interested. The CHF is not equipped, but the kitchen is in a very small condition, and the kitchen is very convenient, and there is plenty of room and bathroom, and if you want to have a nice kitchen, you need to make sure that all the dishes are available.

A good alternative to Saas-Fee

Apart from the room, which was spacious, comfortable and more than enough for our needs, I will highlight three things about the room: 1. Rooms with terrace, from where you can see the village and the valley. Precious views. 2. It has a common kitchen with everything you need. On other occasions we had been in apartments with a kitchen where there are no garbage bags or to have the decks cleaned. In this case, it had everything. Very complete. It is great the base in this hotel and being able to prepare the food or dinner at low cost by shopping in the local supermarkets. 3. We gave us a few tickets to catch the transportation in the area! Thanks to several hours of submission, we live in Saas-Grund as well as Saas-Fee. You can count on this detail, we would have lost everything.

Old structure but in excellent condition! Spacious rooms with rustic and quality furnishings, mini-fridge in room (to be supplied) and boiler, terrace with table and chairs for summer lunches where you can enjoy the great view of the mountains! New and very equipped kitchen! With the dishwasher also! The structure offers pepper salts and detergents for dishwasher cleaning with or without dishwashers! Located in the center near the various restaurants and bars and near the lifting plants (a few mines on foot or wanting to stop in 1 bus). Parking around to substantiate the car and take it back at the end of the trip as it will not be much to use! Very pleasant vacation!
