The service lady was very friendly, competent and warm. The apéro wine feather white from the house-owned ribber is wonderful. Absolutely great fun. The chateaubriand was good, but little, with 200 gr.pperson not really satiating. Additionally, it's normally tedious (maybe good too). The pretzels Fagottini al tartufo are phenomenal. The dessert card is probably the weak point of the great restaurant. Less 'creativity' with more standard would be more than dessert for terms a win. Overall, very good 4 points plus. My 5 points is missing for me an emotion with the dessert. We'll definitely come back.

Good food, very friendly and beautiful ambiance

We were there for a Christmas dinner with colleagues, it was a lively evening, we were warmly welcomed and served very kindly. The best part, however, was the meal, a huge compliment to the chef, it's a wonderful seasonal cuisine offered to you.

We had a Christmas dinner in this place. Before, it was coiled on two conical rails with a fine Apero. The staff were very attentive and clever.The boss asked after each walk if it tasted.It tasted.The quality was very good, the portions were decent, there was also a refreshment and the price/lead ratio was very good.Because we all had the same meal, it's relatively difficult to judge the other dishes. Since the place was full, I have to assume that it was good. We're coming back.

Great Christmas food.

Once again we went to the Deer Inn and were not disappointed. Behind the beautifully decorated plate is good quality, lots of love and commitment. A great team from the chefs to the service to the decorator.

Very fine food with hospitable staff

I stayed only one night at this Hotel. Being in the vicinity of Schaffhausen and not finding a hotel available in the area, I booked this hotel 15 minutes away. Far from Schaffhausen, and I found myself very well. Being in a small village I was a little skeptical. But after calling with the staff who were very kind and available they waited for me until 01:00 at night when check-in was only until 22:00, offering me a beer and a water bottle.

Surprised!

We were greeted with great kindness by the manager of the Landhotel, who did not spare his time to inquire about the area by adding little tips and tricks. Very appreciated. All the staff of the hotel but also of the restaurant turned out to be very helpful, like the owner, 10 out of 10. The establishment is very clean, and the small attention is well present.

Charming hospitality and impeccable cleanliness

Although the food in the beautiful restaurant is truelly amazing, the true star of this hotel is the staff.  Melanie, Thomas and the others made our stay one we will remember for a very long time.  They went out of their way to answer, in perfect English, any questions we had.  Then followed up to see how things went.  The rooms, although a bit 90's in decor are clean, quiet and comfortable.  This is a great location for a quick trip to the Rhine falls or Stein em Rhine, or just a quiet walk in the vineyards.

Special in so many ways

The reception is decidedly cordial. The owners are available, smiling, they do in four to satisfy your requests and above all they also speak Italian, which is an added value in a canton whose mainly spoken language is German. Our room was spacious and clean with the large and comfortable bed, mineral water in tribute. Breakfast is not a buffet but abundant and good. If you want something more or just ask for it and you are served different without any difficulty.

A very pleasant stay

We've had three stays at the hotel in the last six months. We've always been warmly received and professionally served. The food is excellent with local produce and always fresh and perfectly combined. It's well suited to the season. The wine from the region is very good and suited to the dishes suggested. The dessert was a dream....and of course the suitable Marc (Grappa) from the same wine was delicious. The rooms are clean and big enough to stay for a few days. The shower is newly expanded, unfortunately, it fell a little tight.

Recommended restaurant, beautiful terrace in summer, own wine, market-fresh cuisine, seasonal specialties, own parking space (free of charge), family-run for several generations, ideal location for visitors to Zurich wine country or travelers from and to Germany
