One year since my first visit în Kandahar:my feelings did not change.
As I wrote one year before, Aminona is freedom, it is silence, it is nature, pure and unspoiled, it is the smell of the Forest, the walks with nice encounters like dears and squirlles and foxes and even bunnies  în winter,it is for me personally as close i could get to nature.
The 3 Kandahar buildings resist în Time and space, they look like 3 Guardians over Sierre. Architecture:nothing special, but the views over the Mountains and the sun ups every morning at 7 made me fall inlove with this place.I let the pictures tell my story,not before saying that my feelings did not change:i still feel like home and  to the person who deleted my comment:thank you, this way I can post ALL the Photos I took during this year.

One year apart

For me Kandahar was home to me în November, december, beginning of January and for the sake of the beauty of this place I hope to return soon.
Despite all the hotels în Crans or în Montana, Kandahar is an unique. I shall not see it as a master piece of architecture.... cuz it isn t. Really! It îs like Nuvole Bianche by Ludovic Enaudi, like Love less Hearts from Dido or like Agnes obel - the Curse, it îs unique as it s silence, it s pure nature, it s relaxation.
We arrived one night and from outside it was not so much to see :3 huge buildings surrounded by pure, unspoiled nature. I said nothing, as I did not really  know What to expect. I was so tired that night after 2 connecting flights, all i needed was a shower and a bed.. any bed. My surprise was when i entered one of the apartaments, a two rooms apartament actually, all white, with beautiful lightening, a kitchen with every thing we needed not to starve, a Coffee machine(my favorite-it s în one of the pictures), a big table for 6 persons, a massage chiar, two wardrobes, and of course a cosy and well propotioned bedroom, not big, i must admit, but with a comfy bed where, șince some weeks i got The Best sleeping Quality în my life(i m not sure if that s corect, but the bed and his arms are better than any sleeping pill).smile smile
The thing is i m feeling so much better șince Aminona, șince the nights în Kandahar, our nights and the mornings At Gerber, the fresh air at Cry D er and the delicios panna cotta at Desalpe.For New Year s Eve în Constellation Bar(omg, i forgot to post my comment, ups) i ve made 3 wishes, and one came true:i m here, i m home.
Mornings at Kandahar are taken from a fairy tale book :you have to experience it at least once to '' feel'' What i m saying here. The sun up At 7 am, the valley în all its beauty, the small animals around the buildings and the squirrels in the children s Park behind Diademe Building, plus the Library the owner has, from which you can borrow a book, asking her to lend it to you, the paths în The forrest, and the FREE of charge bus that takes you în Crans-Montana, along with the huge swimming pool Located at the ground floor of the 3rd building will make you stay one more night, then one more night.... And one more, till you fell like home. Thing îs The rooms here can be booked for minimum 3 days, actually 3 nights, not less. But the price îs fair and the sleeping Quality îs worth every penny. So, to end my comment, i ll post some pictures that i took, mostly from outside the residence, with the hope that one Day in the bus stop i shall say '' bonjour''to one of my readers.
