I was waiting at the post office, and the owner insulted me heavily, referring to my nationality, even claiming 10 francs to have moved into his property, I can't know the rest because after this episode I decided to change places for lunch, I just read the other reviews now, to know I didn't stop from the beginning.

It's very expensive.

If you're looking for a five-star hotel for Fr. 70, including FS, you're wrong here, but if you want a cozy, clean, underwear with good FS, you're absolutely right here.

A short trip to New Year's Eve, two nights

We wanted to eat in the restaurant and parked our car in the parking lot of the restaurant. Unfortunately (or fortunately) it was closed. Then we went with our 1-year-old son to the river for a while to look at the ducks and then we wanted to look for another place. When we got back to the parking lot, the owner of the restaurant already greeted us with a fussy face. He didn't ask us about the ground of the restaurant or even let us say a word. We were unfriendly and dismissive and forced to pay CHF 10.

Extremely unfriendly owners

NO COMMENT We were at the Favini restaurant in Magadino. It will be the last time we visit this place. We went to eat a pizza, we were the only customers, initially it seems thoughtful and available, we started with a salad that arrived after about 45 minutes of waiting. After that the manager behaved very uncivilized with us, coming to our table several times, saying nonsensical and nonsensical phrases, raising our voice without reason, constantly changing language from Italian, to German to finish with English, saying that the pizza was ready first in 6 minutes then in 10 minutes......!!! I then got up to go to see the women's giant slalom race, at this point he approached me and he said where we would immediately leave the restaurant and where we would not pay for the uncivilized situation, and I don't think we would really know what to do without it.

We were at the Favini restaurant in Magadino. It will be the first and last time we visit this place. We went to eat a pizza but the manager informed us that there were only three left for the rest of the guests. The paper is very varied, clearly only with all the ingredients available. The portions are minimal but the dishes are at least decent. The manager behaved very uncivilly with us, coming to our table several times, saying nonsensical and senseless phrases, raising our voice for no reason, asking us for opinions about newspaper articles and constantly changing language from Italian to English to finish with English. One of our associates wanted to go out to smoke and forced him to sit down.

Once is enough.

By mistake we parked in the favin hotel place, the owner waited for us, insulting us and telling us to go back to our house because we are Italians.

Okay, the hotel is not the best in the world, but the rooms are clean!! The restaurant is normal and you can eat well! The couple who run the hotel and the restaurant are really very nice!! Don't believe the other reviews!!

Couple 5* - Traveling for work

The boss is dishonest and insulting, the restaurant is as scary on the outside as it is on the inside, but the boss is still the worst thing about this pathetic establishment.

After it was relatively cold in the room last winter and we had also informed the hostess that it was already very comfortable to warm up during this stay (for 2 nights). The room was not huge but if we stayed more than one night we got a price cut on request.

Good price/performance ratio, super pizzas and the lake mix

In the case of the hotel, we can't give a rating because we only ate at the restaurant, but we did it twice. We were only in Tessin for 4 days at the end of November 2017 and we were looking for a good restaurant every night. From what we hear, the Favini is supposed to be good, whatever we tested. Since we liked the food the first night (my wife had a fish and I had a pizza from the wood-burning stove), we decided to eat at the Favini again, and this, although we were only safe for 4 days in Tessin and there are still some restaurants that are excellent. Conclusion: The bad reviews about food and hostess we can't follow very well. The food wasn't out of stars (but we didn't even have a host), but the quality and quantity of food has stood out in the hotel, and we can't say anything for sure about where we're going, because we don't want to be in the restaurant anytime soon.
