Stayed here one night on a business trip.  Nice smaller hotel, with good WiFi.  Room was larger than average with comfortable bed and offered excellent views of the lake.  Bistro restaurant was reasonable and had good selection of options.  The staff were friendly and very helpful.  Also has a higher end restaurant on site.

Fantastic lake location 

Not much of an interesting drive up appeal, but the character lies inside.  There are two types of accommodations here...the newer section and an older traditional building where we stayed.  The room was lovely, full of character and faced the lake, where we enjoyed walking the grounds down towards the water.  The room was good sized with a large dressing/closet area and basic bathroom.  The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. There was a small outdoor covered wooden balcony where we sat with a glass of wine...just lovely.  Staff were all polite and helpful.

The hotel boasts a fantastic restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious dinner in a lovely setting.  Breakfast was not on the same level though. We would come again just to dine in the evening as it was outstanding.

Oozes Character!

We have already spent the annual institute's keynote at the Waldheim Hotel several times. The service is good, as well as the room and food. It is wonderful to go swimming in the lake at night after a long day! From the hotel you can get directly to the private beach with a steep slope. In summer it is absolutely recommended, since meals can also be taken outdoors.

Exam session in a beautiful setting

When we wanted cushions for the garden chair: no, it might rain just now and we would have to take them inside again.
When we wanted to eat outside in the lovely garden: no, it might rain just now and WE decide whether you can eat outside or not.
When we wanted doilies for our drinks and maybe a few salted nuts for this aperitif: ok, are you satisfied now?
All this got us so angry that we cancelled dinner there and went to Tisch Bar Theater Restaurant further down the road and had a lovely dinner in a packed garden restaurant under trees!

Guest orientation: Zero!

we had a quick stop at this restaurant. I like it a lot: stunning view to the Zugerer See alongside peaceable atmospher, good service, tasty snacks like prawns and springs rolls, refreshing drinks all made it to a great relaxing package. I think, if I were a tourist I would stay at this hotel for some days.

As always, it was first class, and the garden is one of the most beautiful locations in Switzerland! The service is always attentive and extremely friendly.

I stayed there in all seasons but Winter. I would always prefer to stay in the historical building for the character. Beautiful garden where diner can be served. Food at the inner restaurant is excellent.

Perfect anytime

Obviously, I can't say that this hotel is a solution if you want to visit the capital Zürich, as it is somewhat distant, but it is a good business alternative if you go around and don't want to pay the fortune of a decent hotel in the city. This hotel attracts a lot of people who have to do with Roche Diagnostics, who are the kings of the area, providing the hotel with a shuttle service to its industrial area. The hotel has two wings, one older and swiss and another more current and western. Conza I mean Swiss wood and Alpine type that is exactly what a luxurious wooden cottage offers. Its location on the outskirts of the hotel allows you to have a pleasant outdoor dining environment. The rooms are large in size, the bathrooms are large in size, and the bathroom is small in size, the bathroom is small in size, and the bathroom is small in size, and the bathroom is very nice.

An interesting complex in the vicinity of Zurich (6.5/10)

I've been coming to eat for 1-2 years a year - I like the ambiance in the garden at noon and evening. Last night we were surprised by the rain, the move in went smoothly and stress-free. The operation continued in a calm manner - and the food was once again great!

Highly professional operation with bulk cake

The Waldheim is an old hotel restaurant with many prestigious gastronomic awards, located in a wonderful place in the green. The service was very convenient, the food was good, but in my opinion, in terms of quantity, or size, it was more expensive. In particular, the Brombeer dessert was, for the price of Fr. 16, quite micro, but it was also very tasteful. All in all, if you want to eat noble and beautifully decorated and not too hungry, a restaurant still recommended
