We stayed for one night coming with the bikes. It was nice, but we had some noise in the night. One was the road, as we were located near the top of the camping and the road is straight and a lot of cars keep passing even in the night. The other noise was the A/C of the camping's general store. If you get a location closer to the Rhein this should not be a trouble.

Nice camping

This is an awesome little campground along the river Rhine and within walking distance of Stein Am Rhein.. which is an awesome little gem of a medieval town.. the pool was spotless perfect. Clean. The bathrooms the same. Local river access and ability to bike and run both directions.. shop has everything you forgot.. the wifi is good and spotty in certain areas but otherwise a ok

Camper Van Heaven

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Landgasthof Hotel. We were two ladies traveling together so we booked a double room which offered a "queen" bed and a sofa bed. Much to our delight we found that the queen bed was actually what we in the U.S. would call a King Bed (was actually two twins joined together) so we did not have to use the sofa bed. The beds were very comfortable and outfitted with fine quality linens. The room was quite large with a sitting area that offered a sofa bed, two chairs and a small table and a spectacular view. The room also had ample storage with a dresser, and two wardrobes (one that locked); a nice flat screen TV, free WiFi and a coffee maker (with ample supplies). The hotel and restaurant staff were extremely friendly and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The entire facility was immaculately clean! Our only regret was that we did not book for a longer stay! I definitely hope to return for a longer visit!

Delightful Hotel, Excellent Location, Friendly Staff

My son and I stopped over here one night while cycling along Lake Constance and the Rhine, and it proved to be a great choice. While the tent section of the campground is a bit small, it is right on the Rhine, so great for a quick dip in the river. Also, we loved the apparently recently refurbished shower facilities, which were as nice as any we have been in, and much better than most 4-star hotels we've stayed in. We were especially impressed with the staff, who arranged for (free) towels, after we had forgotten ours as well as lent me a few tent stakes, as we were a bit short. They even opened the mini-golf out of hours because they could see my little boy really wanted to play before we left in the morning!

Nice little spot on the Rhine with incredibly hospitable staff

We spent 2 nights in 1 of their Circus caravans. The accommodation was quirky but well appointed and very comfortable and perfect with children. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the shop 's bakery service where you can order your breakfast goodies the night before and the kids loved the play area. Perfect spot by the Rhine river and within walking distance of Stein am Rhein. The rhine waterfalls and Schaffhouse are also easily accessible by car. 

Great stay in a Circus Caravan 

I cycled around the Bodensee some weeks ago and stayed overnight in my tent at this camping site.
Rheine an Stein is one of the most beautiful places to see and the camping site just adds to the experience.
It is clean, very well run, has an extremely friendly and flexible restaurant and the one of the best bathroom facilities I have used.

A beautiful, well managed and extremely friendly camping site

Came across this site while travelling down the Rhine. Very friendly and helpful staff. Adapter for electric was free. Small pool for children and a play area. New toilet block is brilliant. Very good showers and all spotless. Short walk through the site to the river, fine for swimming in the shallows but a very strong current further out. 

At 48 euros for one night we thought it was on the expensive side however it is in Switzerland !

We had a meal in the restaurant, Four main courses, 2 beers and 2 cokes for 119 euros. Again expensive and to be honest not value for money. The shop is well enough stocked but again on the pricey side. 

Enjoyed our stay but disappointed at the cost.
