A fantastic little hotel with that warm feeling.
A nice atmosphere with fantastic and helpfull personnel.
Perfectly located between the city center and the gondola to the Zermatt wiev point.
We had a nice simple room with everything we needed.
The resturant in the bottom floor served wery nice both food and drinks.

I will definatly come back.👌

A fantastic little hotel.❤️

Very good stay in the heart of small town.... its on the other end of the railway station with less luggage or a single 23kg luggage, I was able to drag it to the hotel with no trouble. All the main hotels and shopping area area / hotels are right outside the hotel and all within walking distance. It's on a no car or no public transport zone so its very peaceful. However getting access to public transport is not difficult or far. Service and courteous helpful staff - room was compact but clean and it was fine by me as I was a solo traveler and I spent very little time in the room. Very organized (tables marked by room number) breakfast in the restaurant, std small hotel spread.

Only challenge - No lift ... Movement of heavy luggage is a challenge. 

Very good stay in the heart of small town

I booked on their website in April for a September trip & got no confirmation from them (despite what is promised on their online booking system). I emailed them (in German) in August to ask if they could confirm my booking. They did not respond to my email. 

We felt that it would be too risky to trek there without confirmation of our night's accommodation, so we changed our route. (We were doing the Walkers High Route backwards and trekked from Gruben via the via Forcletta Pass to Zinal, where a hotel actually confirmed our booking. But I was charged for the full cost of the room at Weisshorn, which is 340 usd per night. (This is by far the most expensive place on the trek.) I am not impressed. If they had just responded to my email...  

I got no confirmation of my booking and they didn't answer my email. 

The hotel is about 10 min walk from the train station, but it is very easy to locate. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the bedroom is so spacious and comfortable, the shared bathroom is clean and well maintained. The hotel does not have a lift, so be prepared to lug your suitcase up narrow spiral stairs. Breakfast is included and the spread is good. I would say this hotel offers really good value for money. 

Excellent value for money!

We had a noce stay here...the room is clean and also for budget travellers like us it is a good hotel to stay in even though we had a shared bathroom it is still clean and well maintained.The Breakfast is very satisfying and most of all the owner is very humble and friendly...We will definitely recommend this place to stay at Zermatt..it is near the train station and shopping area

We wanted a hot lunch and were disappointed not to be able to order that at 15.15 . the homemade apfelstrudel was offered and we decided to go for it . A good decision ! sitting out on their terrace overlooking the river this has to rate as one of the best apfelstrudels I've had and the waitress who recommended it was also very friendly . Would recommend ...

Apfelstrudel to die for

A nice clean, comfy bed for the night. Not too far from station. Not the best views from my room but good enough. A great breakfast in the morning. Only giving a 3 star as price was quite expensive for what you get. But still one of the cheaper beds in the beautiful Zermatt. 

Decent. Good value

Location is about 10 minute from station walking, however we found it a handy location to places we wanted to eat in and go to. Breakfast good. Our room was cosy/small, however had a balcony that looked over main street . Quiet in evenings. Clean and tidy in shared toilet/shower. Wifi good. 

Great

Great chalet in the northern part of zermatt. It's an easy walk 10 min from the station but they have taxis there if you have a lot of gear. $12 cab fee. The desk attendants are very nice and show you what you need to know. The breakfast is a hot and cold continental with made to order coffee and boiled eggs, variety of lunch meats, cereals, fruit, juice etc. Plenty of food to get you through an active day in the outdoors. I got a room on the 2nd floor with balcony over looking the main road and church square. Amazingly tranquil with the mountain water stream running. Shared bath wasn't a problem at all. Clean and spacious. Stairs are the only option getting up and down. They are narrow and steep so don't bring bulky luggage. They will allow you to keep luggage onsite after check out. There is a common room off of the lobby they store bags. It's not secure but they have not had any issues. It was just the right price and it was extremely comfortable for my travels. The cafe DuPont next door is a nice restaurant that is open late and looks like a good hangout spot for locals. Delicious fondue too!

Perfect for solo traveller

We booked this simple and budget hotel cum lodge for just one night stay.The rooms are though a little small but they are clean and well kept . Their is common toilet and bath area on every floor which is to be shared with other room’s people but they are quite clean and hygenic.Over all it was a nice stay with this old look, fairy tale kind of lodge... and yes very reasonably priced. One can definitely consider a few nights stay here which also includes morning breakfast .
